Sealing 144,000 and The Martyrs Praise
Revelation 7 – 8:1 (A break in the action to fill in what happened up
to the end of CH. 6)
Command to the 4 Angels Rev 7:1 And after these
things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Conspicuous omissions
Dan Ephraim
Omission of Dan and Ephraim
The omission of Dan and Ephraim has caused some Bible students to come to the conclusion that they are lost tribes. But they were not really lost in the sense that God cannot find and restore them.
Omission of Dan and Ephraim
In fact, in Ezekiel 48 we find them listed again as part of the prophesied restored nation of Israel for the Millennium and presumably thereafter.
Omission of Dan and Ephraim
We can only guess as to why they were omitted in this list of evangelists that God sent out to evangelize the world. But our guess would probably be wrong.
Omission of Dan and Ephraim
The most obvious reason is that from the time of the Judges, Dan was assimilated into the other tribes and later Ephraim could have become part of Manasseh.
Martyrs Worship
Rev 7:9 After these things I looked, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands.
Martyrs Worship
Martyrs Worship
Rev 7:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb.
These are from the Great Tribulation
Rev 7:14…And [the angel] said to me, “These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation and have washed their robes, and have whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.”
These are from the Great Tribulation
Rev 7:15 “Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple. And He sitting on the throne will dwell among them.”
These are from the Great Tribulation
Rev 7:16 They will not hunger any more, nor thirst any more, nor will the sun light on them, nor any heat.
These are from the Great Tribulation
Rev 7:17 For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them and will lead them to the fountains of living waters. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes.
The greatest harvest of all times
Note: The number boggles John’s mind. It could possibly be up to 1 BILLION souls brought to salvation during the time of the first 3 ½ years of the Tribulation.
The Seventh Seal: The Awful Silence (Revelation 8:1)
“Rev 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”
The Seventh Seal: The Awful Silence (Revelation 8:1)
This is the link between the first and second series of 7 judgments. There are to be 3 series in all, each more severe than the one before.
The coming judgments are so terrible that all of heaven stands totally still and silent for half an hour at the thought of it.
