地景藝術（ Land Art）「大地作品」（ Earth works ）或「大地藝
術」（ Earth Art ）。它是從環境藝術（ Enviroments Art ）演進而來，廣義地說是環境藝術的一種。目的是把大自然稍加施工或修飾，使人們重新注意大自然，從中得到與平常不同的藝術感受。故地景藝術雖是藝術和大自然的結合，但卻是大自然重於人工的藝術作品。
地景藝術所追求的理念 一、探求製作材料的平等化和無限化，並打
破藝術與生活的界限。 二、反對藝術作品的買賣行為。他們認為藝
術作品不應該放在美術館，更不許成為少數資產階級的獨享物。
三、地景藝術的生命是短暫的，其目的在於讓大多數的人們參與。而這一種參與的行為完全脫離了實用性，只在遊戲與幻想的行為中，得到未知的一種新體驗。
地景藝術創作 地景藝術家在創作態度上也有二極化的表現，
有些藝術以大地為畫布，展現對自然的浪漫情懷，代表藝術家如史密斯遜、克里斯多等人。有的藝術家在自然中延伸內在空間，彷彿回到遠古的自然神秘崇拜，如席拉、海札。有的藝術家則去除了藝術家的英雄主義，將演出的焦點完全讓給自然的美感特性，原始的在時間中慢慢呈現，如森菲斯特。
