profile cutters like end mill type gear utters, spline milling cutters, turbine blade profile milling cutters, etc.

These milling cutters are made out of high alloy super high speed steel, with precision ground or ungrounded forms, with straight or helical flutes for shear cutting; continuous or intermittent [staggered] cutting teeth; with or without chip breakers; radial, positive or negative rake tooth faces; with radial, axial or undercutting clearances; individual, gang or solid sections. As cutter teeth are cam relieved, only rake faces need to be sharpened with changing the tooth form through their fuel life. Cutter accuracy is maintained as long as they are accurately ended. This simplifies tool maintenance and provides more consistent quality. These cutters provide high degree of accuracy and efficient cutting geometry and hence ordinary cutters can be comparable in no way with these Jainex Aamcol special cutters. Some important applications of these cutters are highlighted below:

Spur gear teeth milling for specific number of teeth or in sets of 8 and 15 cutters of IS or BS standards.

Sprocket teeth milling cutters, precision ground or ungrounded profile.

Rack teeth milling of highest accuracy, single or multistoried, precisian ground or ungrounded profiles.

Worm threads milling, roughing or finishing, ground or ungrounded form.

STORES DEPARTMENT

Inventory control management:Jainex has the centralize stores department; the store

department is very important to maintain Inventory. In stores there are number of items available and while issuing any material it is very important to maintain F.I.F.O.(First in First out),F.I.F.O. is very important for self life items (those items has expiry date) which can be out dated, if that items are not Issued or used before their expiry date it will be scrap, because of this the company can't utilize the production factor which leads increase company; it deals with determination of optimal of raw material, as it usually gives order as per the requirement.

The material ordered in lot or batch, which gives complete information about the product attach to the carter to know the

28

Page 29: Amol Project

quality, quantity and any new addition. Carter generally includes quality, quantity; date of packaging, number of pieces and name of person who ordered. Apart from this system it hold the computer work where all records, stock statement and transaction takes place daily which helps the marketing departments to refer at the time of sales. when raw material comes from party or vendor the security make manual gate entry of that invoice in their register then it goes in stores department before receiving material the store officer cross check the purchase order, invoice quantity and physical material along with proper any rejection of material found then that material sends back to the party through purchase return.

When the production department gives the MIN (Material Issue Note) to the store department as per requirement issuing raw material for production, after getting MIN the store issuing material then that MIN entered in system to reduce system stock, the internal Auditor makes surprise audit to cross check system V/s physical stock. The internal auditor makes surprise audit to cross check system v/s physical stock (it mostly related with toolig items)

The stores department uses the material handling equipments like conveyer, trucks, trolley, to avoid damages and accident.

Packing and dispatching

After the final inspection product reaches for the packagingdepartment.

Here the inspected product is packed and is ready for the dispatch. Usually packing is performed by four ways, one is loose packing, and pallet packing, box and pallet and drum packing usually used for export dispatch or requirement of customer. The drum packing is costly than another.

It requires poly bags, cartoons. The packed product is dispatched through transports and exports is done through ship,
