Amman Academy’s Violin Club Joins "Young Musicians Orchestra"

      

             The Amman Academy Violin Club started four years ago under the supervision of our wonderful teacher, Ms. Warka Al-Saadi. Our students sat for the Trinity exam, an international exam based in the UK for the performing arts, in May 2014. One of our students achieved the highest mark in Jordan. The club has since participated and performed during various occasions, celebrations, and school events. Some of these performances took place on school premises while others were held at different off-campus locations. Our students have recently joined the National Music Conservatory initiative, the "Young Musicians Orchestra". The orchestra is currently comprised of approximately 45 students from various schools. The orchestra held its spring concert last week and performed well known repertoires such as: La Cumparsita, La Vie en Rose, Autumn Leaves, and “Sahar Al-Layali”. Our students' dedication, hard work, and practice have helped them reach where they are today. Faten Muqattash, AA Principal
