COW launched in 7 villages comprising of 7,800 villagers inGhanapur Mandal of the backward Mahbubnagar district inAndhra Pradesh

COW comprises of a laptop, a digital camera, a mobile phoneand a mini-printer powered by solar cells.

This unique technological combination is mounted on aplatform fitted on a motorcycle, which ensures easyaccessibility to far-flung villages that have no proper roads

An “information retailer” visits villages on his motorcycle,receives queries from the locals, mostly farmers and then givesthem the relevant information from his COW
