Who are we
Our Focus: At Amicorp, we make a difference by creating
opportunities for the less privileged to help themselves out of hunger and poverty, to become self-empowered, more confident and dignified.
How we achieve this: We established the Amicorp Community Foundation (ACF)
in 2001 as a channel to focus our social empowerment efforts, increase environmental consciousness and preserve bio diversity. Amicorp Group contributes up to 1% of its revenue to the ACF.
Our Goal: Create opportunities for people to help themselves by
delivering vocational & life skills training and focus on increasing environmental consciousness.

What is the ACC? The ACF is setting up the Amicorp Community Center
(ACC) in Desa Les in the northern part of Bali, Indonesia to provide high quality vocational and life skills training for youth from low and no income families.
Why do we exist? The ACC exists to deliver skills training which will help
alleviate economic hardship for the poverty stricken northern Balinese youth, especially for young girls who are prone to becoming victims of human trafficking.
What will we do? We will provide employment building skills in hospitality
including food, beverage, front office, housekeeping, English, computer literacy, life skills, permaculture and basic administrative skills in the second phase, classes in Balinese dance, gamelan music and hand-loomed textiles will be conducted with a view to developing cottage industries and preserving cultural heritage.

What do we want to achieve?
The Amicorp afforestation project
Reducing and offsetting our CO2 emissions by way of tracking air miles
For every 200 kms of air travel, 1 tree will be planted
Intend to plant over 90,000 trees in 2015 to offset our carbon emissions from flying in 2013 and 2014
Our offices support our commitment to the environment by engaging in eco-friendly practices at the local level (recycling paper, planting trees, etc.)

Shared Universe helps prevent the rhino and other endangered species from becoming extinct
Our goal is to create a world class game reserve from converted farmland with a focus on providing education and jobs to the communities and focusing on bio diversity conservation
