    CHAMPAGNE & SPARKLING

    Charles de Fre Blanc de Blancs Brut Sparkling, France 150.000 Gls - 690.000A pale gold with greenish lights, this wine is delicately bubbly witha complex bouquet of white flowers including hawthorn andacacia along with white fruit, nuts, and hints of toasted aromas.

    Prosecco Villa Danzia Sparkling, Italy 500.000

    Crisp and minerally, with a green apple undertone. Lightly frothy,tight and very clean. Leaves a fresh aftertaste. Very typical.

    Champagne Jacques Picard 750ml, France 850.000Richly textured and firm, this bubbly exhibits honey, butteredpastry and citrus notes. Has a smooth center, with a chalkysensation on the finish.

    Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Ros 750ml, France 2.200.000Medium-bodied, intense and sinewy, this has a racy structurepropelling its strawberry, black currant and mineral flavors. Lovelybalance and harmony, with a lingering, chalky aftertaste.

    Champagne Cuvee Amuor de Deutz - Blanc 750ml, France 4.500.000The wine gains distinct yeasty notes from its secondaryfermentation, the one that adds the fizz, which is typicallydescribed as recalling brioche or bread. As it ages Champagnetends to lose its obvious fruit, which is replaced by subtle nuttytones and subdued elements of dried fruits.

    Champagne deutz brut classic 750ml, France 1.600.000Bringing fresh white stone fruit, crispened with grapefruit, limeand a delicate aperitif character. On the nose, the wine is richwith yeasty, bready notes. One the palate, the initial impression isof red fruits which then turns into crisp citrus and honey notes. Thefinish is crisp and clean.

    buttery, minerally finish.

    Yalumba Y Series Sangiovese, Barossa Valley, Australia 650.000Light and straighforward, with pretty watermelon flavors, finishingsoft and dry.

    Antinori Cipresseto Rosato, Tuscany, Italy 750.000

    One of Tuscanys original ross, Cipresseto shows a delightfulmid-pink colour, aromas of blackcurrant and cherry, and anattractive crisp balance.

    Barossa Valley, AustraliaCrisp and generous, with floral-tinged pineapple and lime flavors,lingering on the raw-edged finish.

    Vasse Felix Chardonnay, Margaret River, Australia 790.000An elegant cool-climate style. Complexity of flavour, oak andacid make this an excellent food wine.

    Magaret River Art Series Chardonnay, Australia 1.900.000This proved marvellous for white varieties with low cropping levelsproducing wine of great intensity and varietal flavouts.

    Joseph Drouhin Pouilly-Fuiss, Burgundy, France 1.200.000A juicy style, full of peach and citrus notes. The firm structure getsa boost from a pleasant bitterness on the finish.

    B.P de Rothschild Escudo Rojo Chardonnay, Maipo Valley, Chile 650.000Round and smooth on the palate, with a slightly mineral cast, itreveals full, juicy yellow fruit aromas and flavours reminiscent ofpeach.

    SAUVIGNON BLANC

    Chteau Los Boldos Sauvignon Blanc, Rappel Valley, Chile 140.000 Gls- 650.000Nice cut here, with lemon verbena, honeysuckle and chalknotes, and a focused finish. Good weight too. Solid Sauvignon.

    Allan Scott Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand 150.000 Gls - 700.000Clean crisp mouthfeel with steely grape berry and citrus. Good

    fresh characters and easy drinking in the minerally dry style.

    Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand 950.000This refreshing white offers a breezy mouthful of lime-accentedgreen apple and herb flavors, veering toward lime peel as thefinish races on and on.

    Pascal Jolivet 'Attitude' Sauvignon Blanc, Loire Valley, France 750.000Stylish, soft entry leading to a polished, supple texture with gentle,well integrated acidity; medium bodied with lingering citrus-apple aromatic notes in the finish.

    SEMILLON AND BLEND

    Georges Duboeuf Cuvee Blanc, France 100.000 Gls - 420.000With Smoky white fruit and apple aromas. A pleasing light tomedium-bodied wine, it reveals siky waves of gleefully-flavoredpears, apples, candied lemons and gooseberries.

    B.P de Rothschild Mouton Cadet, Bordeaux, France 790.000Focused on pear and apple fruit, with hints of freshly mown grassmingling on the finish.

    Jim Barry 'Silly Mid-On' Smillon Sauvignon Blanc, Clare Valley, Australia 690.000The palate is full and ripe, with a veritable fruit salad of flavours,including mango and lime, peach and pear, passionfruit andquince.

    Brokenwood Smillon, Hunter Valley, Australia 790.000Tart, with bright lemon, melon and pear flavors on a tangy

    balance. The fruit persists nicely on the finish.

    Rockford Smillon, Barossa Valley, Australia 850.000The deep color and complex aromas reflect significant bottleage and should get better with more time. Flavors center onlemon, pineapple and overtones of freshly cut hay.

    GRENACHE AND BLEND

    M. Chapoutier Belleruche White Rhone Valley, France 150.000 Gls - 650.000Shows candied fruit and a touch of geranium, with a sugaryfinish. Not much fun. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

    RIESLING

    Yalumba Y Series Riesling, Barossa Valley, Australia 650.000Lively, with a juicy edge to the fragrant grapefruit, lime andapple flavors, lingering gently on the dry finish.

    Gustave Lorentz Riesling, Alsace, France 750.000A straightforward Riesling, with flavors of Granny Smith apple andlemon peel. Modest finish.

    Trimbach Riesling Reserve Alsace, France 950.000Versatile with fine cuisine. It is a delight throughout the meal,particulary with Alsatian specialities like sauerkraut and coq au

    Riesling, fine fish and shellfish, it is an elegant complement towhite meats and white wine sauces.

    GEWURZTRAMINER

    Gustave Lorentz Rserve Gewrztraminer, Alsace, France 790.000Lively acidity braces lemon curd, white peach and tangerinenotes in this tangy white, which shows a hint of grapefruit on the

    finish. There's a nice interplay of sweet and tart.

    PINOT GRIGIOPINOT GRIS

    Tommasi Le Rosse Pinot Grigio, Veneto, Italy 720.000Shows candied fruit and a touch of geranium, with a sugaryfinish. Not much fun. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.

    TREBBIANO

    Villa Antinori Bianco, Tuscany, Italy 700.000Shows aromas of papaya, green apple, lemon and light vanillabean. Full-bodied, with subtle apple pie, cream and light vanillaflavors. Creamy and beautiful. Needs time to develop, but sogood already.

    TORRONTES

    Alta Vista Premium Torrontes, Mendoza, Argentina 590.000Aromatic with orange and spice notes, but only modest flavors of

    nectarine and almond. Short, clean finish.

    MOSCATO

    Brown Brother Moscato Victoria, Australia 600.000With aromas of musk and freshly crushed grapes. Our moscato isalive with a vibrant and mouth filling sherbet flavour.

    CHENIN BLANC

    Brown Brothers Victorian Chenin Blanc, Australia 500.000

    With refresh flavours of fully ripened grapes, melon and a slightgrassy character this ungooded white is balanced by a crisp,fresh finish.

    CABERNET SAUVIGNON AND BLEND

    Yalumba Y Series Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa Valley, Australia 590.000A rich and complex palate of berries, spicy plum and hints ofmulberries combined with light vanillin, chocolate and cedaryoak influences. Soft, fine grained tannins.

    Leeuwin Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia 1.200.000After a cool start the weather warmed to provide perfect ripeconditions through to vintage. Average yields were producedbut with betterthan everage quality resulting in our wine makersranking this wine amongst the best yet produced from thiswinery.

    Deloach Wild Creek Cabernet Sauvignon, USA 890.000For this wild creek blend we use along skin contact to

    concentrate the textures and flavour followed by new frenchand american oak to balance the structure. Earthy dusty notescombine with red fruit and robust tannins that will allow the wineto be beautifully for years to come.

    B.P de Rothschild Escudo Rojo, Maipo Valley, Chile 700.000Distinctive Bordeaux touch, with black currants, plums and cigarbox aromas and flavors. Good balance with smooth tannins andan appealingly comfortable long finish.

    Earthworks Carbenet Sauvignon, Barossa Valley, Australia 650.000Dark and ripe, with crisp tannins around a fleshy core of black

    cherry and smoky, creamy grace notes. Finishes with welcomeintensity.

    B.P de Rothschild Mouton Cadet Rserve Medoc, Bordeaux, France 850.000Offers blackberry and flower aromas. Full-bodied, with soft,velvety tannins and a juicy fruit finish.

    Chteau Larose-Trintaudon, Haut Medoc, France 990.000A bit herbal on the nose and palate, but lots of currant andlavender character. Medium-bodied palate, with a round finish.

    Chteau Paveil de Luze, Margaux, France 1.100.000Has berry and tobacco notes, but turns a little herbal, with lightfruit and berry character.

    Vasse Felix Cabernet Merlot, Margaret River, Australia 850.000The bouquet has a mix of blackberry, spicy, cedary aromas, the

    palate with cassis fruit at its core which has opened up its

    inherent sweetness; subtle oak, fine tannins and a long, gentlyspicy finish.

    Chteau Citran, Haut Medoc, France 1.200.000Shows blackberry and currant aromas, with a hint of sweet

    tobacco. Full-bodied, with soft, silky tannins and a long, fruityfinish. A pretty wine.

    Yalumba 'The Menzies' Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawara, Australia 1.600.000Lithe, generous and deftly balanced to play its ripe blackberryand currant flavors against hints of wet earth and bay leaf. The

    finish slides elegantly through refined tannins and a hint of

    charred meat.

    Chteau Chasse-Spleen, Moulis en Medoc, France 2.200.000Big and chewy. Impressive. Dark ruby-colored, with cocoa,coffee and chocolate aromas covered by ripe fruit. Full-bodiedand very rich, showing lots of chewy tannins and a long, roastedcoffee and berry aftertaste.

    B.P de Rothschild Almaviva, Concha Y Toro, Chile 4.000.000Dense but racy, thanks to plenty of fine-grained tannins thatcarry the shaved vanilla bean, black currant paste, fig and loamnotes through a superlong finish. Additional tobacco and cedar

    hints chime in on the finish. Really well-built, showing a Maipoprofile with a Bordeaux-like structure.

    SHIRAZ AND BLENDS

    Yalumba Shiraz Viognier, Barossa, Australia 150.000 Gls - 690.000A wine of uncommon balance that plays its ripe cherry, plumand mulberry flavors against wisps of cream, clove and whitepepper, all of it mingling harmoniously on the long, refined finish.

    Margaret River Art Series Shiraz, Australia 1.200.000The mild to warm growing season encouraged good, evenflavour development and retention while a burst of hot weatherin March ripened the tannins and produced berries withexceptional flavour and intensity.

    Jim Barry 'Lodge Hill' Shiraz, Clare Valley, Australia 790.000

    Typical Clare Valley old vine Shiraz, a dark succulent, savory winewith fine silky tannins and lots of pepper with the oak finish warmand Moorish.

    M. Chapoutier "Les Meysonniers", Crozes-Hermitage, Rhone Valley, France 950.000Open-knit and juicy, with lovely plum and refreshing mineralflavors, and a nice beefy note to the finish.

    Yalumba 'The Octavius' Shiraz, Barossa Valley, Australia 2.600.000Lithe and silky, with marvelous raspberry, red plum, cinnamonand cream aromas and flavors that jet across the palate,lingering easily on the expressive, refined finish.

    MERLOT AND BLEND

    Chteau Haut-Saint-Brice, Saint-Emilion, France 1.100.000Big Bordeaux with intense black berry and black currant flavours,a tad tannic which is a hallmark of Haut St Brice.

    Chteau de Valois, Pomerol, France 1.400.000Aromas of currant, with hints of raisin and rose. Medium- to full-bodied, with firm tannins and a medium finish.

    PINOT NOIR

    Scott's Base Pinot Noir, Central Otago, New Zealand 750.000Shows rip plump, Cherry fruits and spice charactersallong withipressive weigh, concentration and complexity.

    Pascal Jolivet 'Attitude' Pinot Noir, Loire Valley, France 850.000Soft-textured, with smoke and black cherry notes followed bydusty tannins on the finish.

    Brokenwood Beechworth Pinot Noir, Hunter Valley, Australia 890.000Light and silky, with a lovely burst of cherry and raspberry fruit upfront, lingering on the polished finish with hints of cream andflowers.

    Joseph Drouhin Cte de Nuits-Villages, Bourgogne, France 890.000Slightly spicy cherry nose. Palate is chunky, spicy and tannic withgood acidity. Dry and very savory, almost rustic.
