PUBLIC NOTICE

Sub. : Extension of Applicability of CAR Section 2 Series E Part VIII

The CAR Section 2 Series E Part VIII, issue IV, Rev 3 dated 30 thApril 2012 is applicable till 31stJuly2015. However keeping in view that institutes have inducted batches during 2013, 2014 sessions andintroduction of new CAR to replace the aforesaid CAR has not been completed, it has been decidedto extend the applicability of the existing CAR up to 31stJuly2018 to facilitate institutes to completetraining course for batches of students inducted up to July 2015.

Accordingly, the batches of students inducted during July 2015 will be the last batch under existingCAR. It has also been decided that no application for issue / extension of scope of approval under theexisting CAR will be considered.

The proposed new CAR on approval of training institutes for imparting ab-initio training based on

requirements prescribed in CAR 66 is under preparation and shall be applicable for institutes seekingapproval after issue of the said CAR. The existing institutes will be given adequate time to comply withrequirements of the new CAR.
