PERCON showcases latest innovations for UHD/4K solutions at Broadcast Asia 2017

PERCON will present its latest innovations for UHD/4K solutions during the celebration of Broadcast Asia 2017 in Singapore, presenting its current technological developments of top-quality cables, connectors, patch panels and accessories with the maximum guarantee.

With more than 40 years of experience in the industry, and located in Barcelona, Spain, PERCON has focused in the specialized production of cables for the broadcast and multimedia field. Broadcast Asia 2017 will be an excellent opportunity to get a first-hand look at the company's new products in UHD/4K solutions. In reference to cable the newest Silver+ Coaxial video cable with silver-plated copper center conductor for digital applications. Can carry serial data interface (SDI) and high definition television formats (HDTV) according to SMPTE 259M (270Mbps), ITU-R BT.601 (composite PAL at 177Mbps) ,SMPTE 292M (1,5Gbps) ,SMPTE 424M (Prog. Scan. HDTV/3G-SDI), SMPTE ST2081 (QFHD) & SMPTE ST2082 (UHD-1).

For connectors Percon’s High Performance UHD/8K 12GHz True 75 ohm BNC with black finished body and gold plated inner and outer contact will be presented. With High Performance 75 ohm BNC crimp plug. And using standard Crimp sizes tested to meet the requirements of SMPTE ST 2081-1 & ST 2082-1 for use in

6G-SDI & 12G-SDI systems. Now Tested to 18 GHz.

Also it will be announced the AVP’s introduction of a patching solution for UHD 4K Video Jackfields, offered in two styles. One as a module for the very popular Universal Bulkhead Panel System, available in 1, 1.5 and 2 RU panels. The second is an extruded 1RU aluminum frame featuring AVP’s numbered and patented designation design to maximize viewable area. The jack meets and exceeds SMPTE ST2082-1:2015 (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers® 12 Gb/s Signal/Data Serial Interface - Electrical). The panels are available in 1RU, 2x24, 2x26 and 2x32.
