2011 line camp feature routines Line Camp Dance: “Make It Shine” – by: Victoria Justice – Time: 1:58 - This year’s camp dance is sure to impress! The choreography is upbeat and fun and allows your dancer to feel sassy and confident while dancing! Tricks and technique such as single/double pirouettes, switch leaps/ jetés, and leaps in 2nd position/X-jumps are offered to both Intermediate and Advanced levels to make sure your dancers shine! Pep Rally Routines: “Get it Girl” – by: Ciara – Time: 1:15 - Get it Girl is the perfect routine to start the year off with your team. This year's pep rally dance is energetic, fun, and funky for all levels of dancers. Dancers and the crowd alike will love the non-stop movement spiced with sassiness and hip-hop. "Get It Girl" has easy to follow choreography that can easily be clean for that first pep rally. “Oldies, but Goodies” – by: Various Artists – Time: 2:00 - The Pep Rally routine is a great mix of music that is sure to get your crowd excited. The routine is a combination of pom, hip-hop, and jazz. Includes fun dance moves with technique including a double, tilt, pitch, toe touch and jeté. Kick Series: “Fashionista” – Time: 0:45 – Jr. Kick Series (see video & notes online at www.danceadts.com/highkick.htm “Bleeding Love” – Time: 1:15 – Sr. Kick Series (see video & notes online at http://www.danceadts.com/highkick.htm Jazz Routines: Int Field Jazz - “Dynamite” – by: Victor Lopez (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 1:35 - Challenge your beginner dancers but keep your intermediate and advanced team members engaged with this sassy field jazz. The quick arm movements, leaps, and turns make this dance perfect for any team. “Dynamite” is filled with visual parts, levels, and sections and all of the choreography is easy to polish! You can also perform this dance to the pop version of the song as well. Great for a football game or pep rally! Int Contemporary Jazz - “Rumor Has It” – by: Adele – Time: 1:58- This dance is choreographed to Adele's latest hit off her number one album 21. This sassy contemporary jazz includes groups, floor work, and lots of visual level changes within the 6 formations. This piece would be great to feature your officers, seniors, or elite dancers. It can be used for a pep-rally, basketball game, or spring show number. The music is full of style and energy and your dancers will love it!

Int/Adv Jazz - “Mamma’s Place” – by: Roisin Murphy – Time: 2:14 - This would be a great dance for a pep-rally, basketball game or spring show. The choreography includes lots of groups, sections, and floor work. The skills incorporated in this dance are perfect for the intermediate to advanced dancer and can also be modified with various options to simplify the movements. Your team will really be able to show off their technique and high energy in this fun and innovative jazz dance. Adv Jazz - “Fever” – by: Cascada – Time: 1:56 - This is a stylized jazz that is upbeat and fun to learn. It is choreographed for the advanced dancer who wants to be challenged and show their expertise in performing a technical jazz full of leaps, turns, and flexibility. This dance also has parts, levels, and visual group work along with a floor section. The routine would be great for a basketball game or spring show performance! Not only will your dancers love the music, the crowd will like it too! Hip Hop Routines: Int Hip Hop - “Old Skool” – by: Various Artists – Time: 2:01 - If you want to take it back to the old school that’s so cool then come learn these supersonic, tricky, booming moves! This dance features the running man, cabbage patch, the snake, the sprinkler, and lots of other fun and funky choreography from the first days of hip-hop! This mix features Supersonic, Tricky, and Boom I’ve Got Your Boyfriend. This dance is perfect for a pep-rally, football game, or spring show. The crowd will be up on their feet jamming to this beat! Int Hip Hop - “Shawty Got Moves” – by: Various Artists – Time: 1:46 - This is a high energy and energetic hip hop that your dancers will want to learn. The song is from the Step Up 3 movie soundtrack and has a great beat that makes you want to get up and move! The dance has parts, level changes, and group work along with quick footwork. This would be great for a pep-rally or basketball game. The music alone will get your audience fired up and your dancers will love the choreography! Adv Hip Hop - “Look At Me Now Mix” – by: Various Artists – Time: 1:52 - This is a mix of three songs which include 6 foot 7, Look At Me Now, and Beautiful People. This high-energy dance is filled with the latest moves in hip-hop. Come and challenge yourself with this exciting and fun dance. This dance is great for showcasing your dancers with hip-hop experience. It has lots of quick footwork and intricate arm movements. This would be great for a pep-rally or spring show. Your dancers will love this dance and so will your audience! Pom Routines: Int Field Pom - “Shout It Out Loud” – by: Mike Story (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 1:36 - Keep your fans in their seats with this exciting intermediate pom dance. Challenging arm sections and visual formations make this pom a "must use" for football season! Int/Adv Field Pom - “Step Up” – by: Ralph Ford (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 2:01 - This field pom will excite your audience. The music is fun, exciting, and makes you want to clap along. This routine has level changes, intricate arm movements and parts that are grouped differently throughout the dance. It will be a crowd pleaser! Int Pom - “Hit’s Mix” – by: Various Artists – Time: 1:59 - Your audience and team will love the song selections in this mix. This routine will be perfect for pep rallies or basketball games. Fast arms, eye-catching parts and fun moves will keep your crowd entertained. Int/Adv Pom - “Social Glee” – by: Various Artists – Time: 1:59 – Social Glee is an Intermediate routine from the hit TV series Glee. This routine will be a hit with any crowd. This pop pom has many level changes and intrigue parts that will keep the audience wanting more. The technical skills in this routine consist of double pirouette, LA leap, grande jeté, calypso (can be changed to axel, chainés, or chainé into jeté). Adv Pom - “Determinate” – by: Lemonade Mouth – Time: 2:01 - Determinate is an energetic pom with strong movements and multiple levels. Includes a toe touch, double, axle, jeté, and a fun new trick that the crowd will enjoy.

Prop Routines: Beg/Int Prop - “25 or 6 to 4” (Large Hoop) – by: Mike Story (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 2:15 - This fun hoop routine offers an array of visual effects, group parts, and interesting formations. Using hoops with two different colors will create a wow factor that your audience will love. This routine is perfect for any small or large team looking for a Friday night crowd pleaser. Int Prop - “Black Dog” (Ribbon/Streamer) – by: Roland Barrett (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 1:33 - This field prop is sure to make the stands roar! Your dancers will enjoy the intricate arm work to highlight the color of the ribbon streamer and create a visual performance for your audience. With excellent choreography that offers a challenge to your intermediate dancers, Black Dog will get the crowd out of their seats and on their feet! Adv Prop - “Mambo Mix” (Handheld Fan) – by: Various Artists – Time: 2:16 - This prop routine is great for a competition or pep rally. It is a very exciting and fun prop routine and it has many technical elements in it that will be sure to get the crowd pumped up. Triple pirouette turns, revolving second leaps, and ever changing footwork are sure to give your team the challenge they are looking for. Kick Routines: Int Field Kick - “The Power of Love” – by: Mike Story (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 1:45 - This song is an oldie but goodie, and will certainly be a crowd favorite. This kick routine will be perfect for any level team, because it can be modified to suite any team’s level. This fun kick routine has basic kick series that are easy to polish and perfect. The kick sequences and contagion section are sure to make this routine a crowd favorite. Int/Adv Field Kick - “Bang the Drum All Day” – by: Nick Baratta – Time: 2:02 – Here’s a fun, upbeat kick routine is accompanied by music that is sure to entertain the dancers as well as the audience. This field routine consists of visual kick sequences, parts sections, as well as a contagion section. The transitions are very smooth and visual to the audience. The kick sequences will the challenge the intermediate dancers, but can also be adapted for any level team. It is sure to be a big hit on the field, and a favorite for all dancers. Int/Adv Kick - “Higher” – by: Taio Cruz – Time: 2:37 - This intermediate to advanced kick is a sassy routine sure to showcase your team’s outstanding high kick technique! This kick features several different parts, contagions, a small dance section, and a bit of floor work! Technical elements included in this routine are; a jump split, double pirouette, Y-scale contagion, and quick footwork. This routine would be perfect to pump up the crowd at a pep rally or basketball game! Military Routines: Int Field Military - “El Conquistador” – by: Mike Story (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 1:58 - Visual formations, parts, and arms give this routine a unique appearance on the field. High flying stunts and a little Spanish sass adds some flair that will leave your audience wanting mucho mas! Int/Adv Field Military - “Macarena” – by: Jerry Burns (Alfred Publishing) – Time: 1:40 - Fast arm movements combined with foot work, and level and directional changes come together to present an intricate routine that will leave your audience breathless. An unexpected trick and unusual formations will give your audience something new to cheer about! Int Military - “Live Your Life” – by: Various Artists – Time: 2:01 - This fast paced military routine will challenge your dancers from beginning to end. Visual formations and intricate arm work will dazzle your audience. This intermediate routine includes floor work, single coupe turn from the floor, toe touch stunt, and a right grand battement. The precise and energetic choreography in this routine would compliment a team of any size and could be easily adapted to the field for halftime. Adv Military - “Are You Gonna Go My Way” – by: Various Artists – Time: 2:04 - This Intermediate/Advance military routine is a high energy routine with many visuals. This routine is fast

pace and keeps moving with the different level changes and formations. Although this is an intermediate/advance routine, it is easy to clean. Dancers will enjoy learning this mind-blowing routine. Novelty Routines: Int Novelty - “Jumpin’ Jack” – by: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy – Time: 2:27- This is a high-energy routine straight from the swing era. Using traditional swing steps with a modern twist, Jumpin’ Jack would be a great spring show routine or community performance. It includes plenty of partnering and group work to allow for a variety of technique and ability levels. Skills include a toe touch, cartwheel and small partner lifts. Int Novelty - “Thriller/Off With Your Head” – by: Cast of Glee – Time: 2:22 - Ready for a new twist on an old favorite? Rock your next Halloween pep-rally or spring show with this Glee-themed novelty to a medley of Thriller and Heads will roll. This dance has all of your Thriller favorites mixed in this intermediate novelty. This dance includes many intermediate dance skills such as a battement kick, double pirouette, souté leap, and a jeté leap. This will be a crowd favorite as you dance as your favorite Thriller zombie! Adv Novelty - “Jailhouse Blues” – by: Various Artists – Time: 2:15 - This novelty is sure to knock your socks off. It is fun and playful but has many technical elements that will empress your audience. Double pirouettes into chainé c-jumps, tilt leaps, and calypsos are some of the many elements required with some vigorous floor work. Lyrical Routines: Int Lyrical “Glitter in the Air” – by: Pink – Time: 1:50 - Glitter in the Air is an expression of enjoying every moment in life. This beautiful stylized lyrical routine has been adapted for intermediate level dancers and it includes many group parts that would work perfectly for any team of any size. If you are looking for a dance with emotion and playful choreography, as well as a visual routine that incorporates interesting contagions, floor work and graceful movements that complement the music, then this is the dance your team should learn! While incorporating glitter-like material to add extra flare for competitions and spring shows, this dance would be perfect for any venue. Adv Lyrical “One and Only” – by: Adele – Time: 2:16 - This lyrical will be a hit with its swift pace and visual choreography. Based on challenging weigh shifts and continuous movement, both the intermediate and advanced dancers on your team will be pleased. Some technical material included double turns, intricate leap combinations, and a forward shoulder roll. One and Only will be a great routine for spring show or special venues. With movement that is expressive, clean, and visually stimulating, your audience will be left wanting more. Int/Adv Contemporary Lyrical - “Radioactive” – by: Boyce Avenue – Time: 2:17 - “Radioactive” is a stylized routine that would be great for your advance dancers, yet it can be easily modified for your intermediate dancers. This new type of contemporary style will be both enjoyable and pleasing for your entire team to learn. Although challenging due to the technical aspects of this routine, it is sure to motivate your dancers and please any audience! Modern Routines: Int Modern “To Build a Home” – by: The Cinematic Orchestra – Time: 2:28 - This intermediate modern routine is sure to capture the hearts of those who understand the true meaning of a home. Using cardboard as a prop to write what “home” means to each dancer allows for self-expression and creativity. Technical elements are comprised of single coupé turns, sauté to the floor, inversion handstand, chassé and glissade. The music is more lyrically based at the beginning making counts more intermediate/advanced to count. Footwork and grouping is simple to allow the dancer to focus on fluidity, effort quality, timing, and what it really means to build a home.

Adv Modern “The Dancer” – by: Ane Brun – Time: 2:10 - The Dancer is an appealing modern dance based on spirals, turns, jumps, quick weight shifts, partnering, and dynamic movements which would be perfect, as well as a challenge, for your intermediate or advance dancers. This captivating routine will allow your dancers to grow and fully understand modern dance concepts more in depth while expressing their emotions as if no one was watching them. This is a perfect piece for a spring show venue or for special performances that is captivating and visually exciting for any audience! Liturgical Routines: Int/Adv Liturgical “Beautiful Ending” – by: Barlow Girl – Time: 2:32 - Quick paced and stylized movement is the heart of this dance; it celebrates the beautiful lines and movements our bodies create, given to us by the Lord, so that we may praise Him. Visually impactful, the dance uses many levels, fast direction changes, and quick weight shifts that create a dramatic and exciting routine. Choreographed in mind to challenge the intermediate and advanced dancers, improvisational skills will be required while executing stylized movement. Beautiful Ending is light hearted and entertaining for the dancers and the audience, and it would look amazing at contest and your spring show!
