Authorsmayaddressothertopicsofinteresttotheengineeringeducationcommunityaswell.Guidelinesforpreparingthemanu-scriptsareavailableathttp://cee.citadel.edu/asee-se/.
Thisisapeerreviewedconference.Paperswillbeacceptedonthebasisofpeerreviewofthecompletemanuscript.Allacceptedpaperswillbeincludedintheconferenceproceedings.Authorsofacceptedpapersareexpectedtopresenttheirpapersatthecon-ferencetofacilitatethetransferofknowledgethroughdiscussionanddebate.
Inadditiontofullmanuscripts,alimitednumberofabstractsmaybeacceptedforpresentation.Theseabstractswillbepublishedinthebookofabstracts,butwillneitherbepeerreviewednorincludedinthereviewedproceedings.

HighlightsofConferenceatMemphisThe2008AnnualASEE-SESectionmeetingwashostedbytheHerffCollegeofEngineeringoftheUniversityofMemphisonApril6-8inMemphis,TN.Over�70wereinattendance,includ-ingapproximately50students.Therewere�07papersontheconferenceprogram,whichhadasitstheme“BuildingBridges:MakingtheConnectionsthatFacilitateEngineeringEducation.”
OnSundayafternoon,aworkshopon“GISinEngineeringEducation”wasavailableforconferenceparticipants.PresentedbyZacharyLaneofESRI,theworkshopwasdesignedtohelpengineeringeducatorsdevelopideasforincorporatingGISintocoursesandprograms.AlsoavailablewasatouroftheFedExInstituteofTechnology.TheFedExInstituteishometocutting-edge research teams working in areas such as artificial intel-ligence,biotechnology,geospatialanalysis,multimediaartsandnanotechnology.TheWelcomeReceptionwasheldattheBigFootLodgeindowntownMemphis.

wasaddedtothealreadyimpressiveselectionofdessertsfromthebanquet,andthosestayingforthegamewereallsetforauniqueeveningofcollegesports.
