Time: • You will have 90 minutes to complete this test. • You can use any method of timing that you want. As long as your timing method
is accurate, you may use that method. • If I discover that you went over the time limit, you will be automatically
disqualified. • Please be honest with your timing. You are only cheating yourself if you go
over/under the time limit. • There is currently no deadline for submitting, however, a deadline will be set
soon. Submissions:
• Please number your submissions, to make it easier for me to grade. Non-numbered submissions will result in minus 5 points.
• When answering a problem, please leave it in the form 5) Letter of your answer. Do not leave it as 5) Number, instead leave it as a letter (the choices will be given to you in the problems).
• If you are not answering a problem, leave it as blank. You can do this two ways. If you are going to leave problem 6 blank, leave it as 6) Blank, or do not right anything for the problem.
Scoring: • For each correct answer, you get 6 points. • For each incorrect answer, you get 0 points. • For each question you leave blank, you get 1.5 points.
Problem difficulty: • Problems 1 through 10 are at an AMC 8 level. • Problems 11 through 20 are at an AMC 10 level. • Problems 21 through 25 are at an AMC 12/AIME level.
Advancing to AIME round: • There are two ways to advance to the AIME round. • 1) If you score more than 110 on this test, you will advance to the
AIME round. • 2) If you score in the top 10 percent of everyone taking the test, you
will advance to the AIME round.
Good luck on the test!
