Course DescriptionThis course comprehensively reviews the application of musculoskeletal ultrasound for performing diagnostic studies and guiding interventional procedures in the upper and lower limbs. Expert faculty demonstrate the common pathologies and relevant ultrasound-guided procedures for patients presenting with regional complaints in the shoulder, elbow, hand-wrist, hip, knee, and ankle-foot. Core lectures are supplemented by faculty-supervised hands-on experience, both scanning live models and performing ultrasound-guided procedures on unembalmed cadavers.

Target AudienceThis course is designed to meet the needs of learners who already have experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound, but would like to bring their diagnostic and interventional skills to a higher level. The course material is appropriate for physicians, chiropractors, podiatrists, sonographers, and other health care professionals who evaluate and treat patients with regional musculoskeletal disorders.
