About?American honey is movie about a free-spirited teenager on the brink of adulthood, leaves her troubled home in the American Midwest and hits the road with a mag crew looking for an adventure. The film poster clearly states that the movies is an independent film meaning that its being produced and distributed by independent entertainment agencies.This would attract a wide range of people as there are many people who seek for more than the predictable. Festival of Cannes is also an annual event which is attended by many celebrities and shows off new films of all genres meaning all audience types.
ActorsThe main protagonist is around the age of 19 which means that the audience will be able to relate to her. Sasha Lane is a new actress which also suggests that people who are looking for new actors would also be interested in watching this movie.Shia Labeouf fans would also be attracted to watching this film as he is demonstrating his talents as an actor. The viewers also like to see actors act in movies of different genres, Shia is known for his role in transformers, however in this particular movie he plays a rebellious character who has no clear path for his future which intrigues the public to watch the film.

Reflection Learning about how democratics and psychograohics affect the target audience attracted to a certain film will mean that I can now analyse the whole process a film director would have to go through before being able to make the film, as they would have to asses if the film would be successful. This will also be useful as knowing the different types of people watching a film means that I can now analyse a poster for a book, film, theatre play and make out who they are aiming their item/product for .
