ENJARRE

“Enjarre (n-har-ray) our single-coat product, offers great value which makes it well-suited for large commercial projects. The single coat application process eliminates much of the labor and costy typically involving in finishing a wall. Use Enjarre to cover large spaces and then perhaps choose a second coat of one of our premier plasters for accent walls.”

LOMA

“The Original Earth Plaster. Loma, meaning “earth” in Spanish, conveys the essence of suede through its sensuous matte surfaces resembling the textural delights of a Tuscan Farmhouse, an English Tudor wall plaster or a Greek isle Mediterranean interior. Made with reclaimed marble sand, and multiple clays, our patented formula offers a remarkable breadth of surface possibilities. Loma is also the basecoat for Porcelina and Marittimo.”

PORCELINA

“Porcelina is ofeten compared to the Venetian plasters of Italy. Porcelina is truly closest to the quality of “porcelain” ceramics for which it was named. Satin smooth, easily blended for marble like surfaces, Porcelina casts a spell of beauty…with an edge of contemporary, crisp lustert. Sometimes mixed with Lime Putty to Increase its surgace hardness, Porcelina is the most frequent choice for formal interiors.”

MARITTIMO

“Marittimo is a name created with the “sea” (or “mar”) at its core. Marittimo uses recycled, crushed shells from the U.S. Gulf Coast. This plaster top coat brings the greatest textural surprise of them all. Its sensuous grainy feel is produced by burnishing and light sponging, which brings back the spirit of the shells used in this formulation.”American Clay Prodect Overview .pdf

LIME PUTTY

“Mixing it in with the clay plaster – called Lime Gauging – offers a surface that will be noticeabl lighter in color, harder that without the addition of lime and more resistant to water.”

“Diluting it with water and brushing it across the clay’s surface – called Lime Washing – offers a surface that has the same properties as a “Gauged” surface. Yet, the look can be brighter and more vivid in color that a standard American Clay wall.”

“American Clay’s Lime Putty is a high-calcium slaked lime to be used in conjunction with our line of award-winning earth plasters. American Clay’s Lime Putty offers a wide range of new features and beautiful effects. We are happy to introduce these new, professional-level options to expand the creative possibilities of our plasters. Additionally, this domestically-produced Lime Putty is one of relatively few on the market that is eligible for LEED points in the green building process.”
