DAY 1 – Arrive in Buffalo, New YorkOur American Heritage holiday begins with your arrival in Buffalo,New York. Meet your traveling companions tonight at 6:00 p.m. at awelcome dinner hosted by your Tour Manager. Meal: D

DAY 2 – Niagara Falls and Red Coach InnThe day begins at Prospect Point for a prime view of Niagara Falls, fol-lowed by a visit to the Niagara Adventure Theater for a viewing of thefilm Niagara: Legends of Adventure. Next, we take a ride to the top ofthe Observation Tower for a one-of-a-kind view of all three waterfalls.Then, take a thrilling boat ride to the foot of Niagara Falls on theiconic Maid of the Mist boat tour. Feel up-close the power and majestyof the Falls from this remarkable vantage point. Our day ends with din-ner at the historic Red Coach Inn. Built in 1923 this English Tudor-styled inn features beautiful views of the Upper Rapids, deliciouscuisine and a history of ghostly activity. Meals: B, D

DAY 3 – Corning Museum of Glass and LancasterPassing into the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York we stop atthe Corning Museum of Glass. Here, more than 35 centuries of glassartistry is on display including examples from the finest RenaissanceVenetian glass through today’s contemporary artists. Later we arrive atour hotel in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Amish Country, Lancaster.Tonight, enjoy a traditional dinner of local specialties. Meals: B, D

DAY 4 – Buchanan’s Wheatland and Amish CountryTouring in Amish Country begins at Wheatland, the Federal home ofAmerica’s 15th President, James Buchanan. We also make a stop atKitchen Kettle Village, where delicious jams and jellies are made daily.Later, a local guide joins us for a journey through Lancaster AmishCountry, the nation’s oldest Amish settlement where thousands stilllive a centuries-old “Plain” lifestyle. Step back in time to a slower pacein this region where horse and buggy and windmills dot the landscape.Meals: B, L

DAY 5 – Historic GettysburgAt the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Centerwe see the feature film A New Birth of Freedom, which orients us on theBattle of Gettysburg. Then, we see the restored Cyclorama painting,the Battle of Gettysburg, the largest painting in the country. Lunch is atthe Dobbin House Tavern, the oldest building in Gettysburg, whichfeatures historic furnishings and costumed wait staff. A licensed Get-tysburg guide leads us on an in-depth look at this historic three-daybattle. Learn about the “Peach Orchard” and “Roundtop” while pass-ing through the hallowed ground of what became the major turningpoint of the Civil War. Meals: B, L

DAY 6 – Arlington National Cemetery and DC MemorialsWe begin sightseeing in our nation’s capital with a visit to ArlingtonNational Cemetery and the John F. Kennedy Memorial. View theChanging of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and theWomen in Military Service Memorial. During our touring in DC’s mallarea we’ll see the FDR, Vietnam and Lincoln Memorials. We’ll alsomake a stop at the National WWII Memorial, the first national memo-rial dedicated to all who served during World War II. After dinner thisevening, an incredible Illumination tour of Washington, DC tops offthis exciting day as we see the memorials and monuments bathed inflood lights, including the U.S. Capitol and the White House. DAY 7 – Mount Vernon and JamestownNo tour of colonial America is complete without a stop at Mount Ver-non, the expansive estate of George and Martha Washington. Visit theFord Orientation Center and the Donald W. Reynolds Museum whereyou will have the chance to experience Washington’s life throughmovies and exhibitions. Explore his mansion filled with 18th centurytreasures and stroll the gardens of this 45-acre estate, taking in theviews of the Potomac River from the mansion’s piazza. Later, we arriveat Jamestown, the site of America’s first permanent English colony. Ex-

plore life at the dawn of the 17th century inside the palisade of a re-created colonial fort and discover the world of Pocahontas in thePowhatan Indian Village. Meal: B

DAY 8 – Colonial WilliamsburgColonial Williamsburg is the largest living history museum in thecountry and one of America’s most popular attractions. Stroll streetsdating back to the 1700s. Converse with residents playing the roles oftheir ancestors as they go about their daily activities exactly as they didmore than 200 years ago. It’s an exciting glimpse into the early days ofour nation. A traditional Colonial tavern dinner sets the mood for ourstay in historic Williamsburg. Meals: B, D

DAY 9 – Travel HomeWe travel back to Washington, DC tour as our tour ends with a grouptransfer to Washington Reagan National Airport from flights out after2:00 p.m. Meal: B
