Practical Exam Session Practical Examination Dates Closing Dates for Entries
Please refer to the Victorian Enrolment Handbook or AMEB Victoria’s website (www.ameb.unimelb.edu.au) for details ofexamination availability and examination centres. The following session dates apply to general centres, as published. Aschool or private studio with examining time of 3 hours or more in a particular subject may apply to be an examination centreand also may request to host practical examinations outside the published session dates.
Melbourne Metropolitan All Music and Speech practical subjects except Licentiate Diplomas and special subjects (see below).
1st Metropolitan 20 April – 9 May 25 February

Country VictoriaSpecial subjects (see below) available in Country Victoria by special arrangement. Examinations for Associate and Licentiatediplomas are not available in Country Sessions. In the 2nd Country session, Instrumental, Singing and Speech examinationsavailable in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Sale, Shepparton, Warragul and Wodonga only. Piano examinations available at allcentres in both sessions.

Special Subjects (Melbourne Only) Accordion, CPM, Electronic Organ, Ensemble, Harp, Organ, Recorder and Percussion available in the following Specialsessions only (alternative dates and locations might be possible where there is examining time of 3 hours or more in aparticular subject).
