Amboise Castle

The castle is on the top of a hill and overlook the Loire River .

It was built during the 15th century.

King Charles VIII lived in the castle with his wife, Anne de Bretagne.

He died in the castle after looking a sport match.

Leonardo da Vinci was buried in the church of the castel.

There were two kinds of armour :

-Those with webbed feet and without decoration, for the fight.

-Those with pointed feet and decorations:for the tournaments.

During the 19th century, Napoleon the first gave the castle to Pierre Roger Duccos.

But Pierre Roger Duccos destroyed the 4/5 of the castle.
