SITUATION Blessed with miles of unspoilt coastline, Cornwall is renowned for its variety of land and seascapes. From the wilder beaches of the north coast, ever popular with surfers, to the calmer sailing waters of the south-coast creeks and estuaries, there is an activity to suit all.

Ambleside Manor adjoins farmland close to the rural hamlet of Whitecross, a short drive from the spectacular north Cornish coast. Connections are excellent from Newquay. The nearby A30 dual carriageway gives convenient access to the M5 motorway at Exeter. Cornwal (Newquay) Airport is just 6.8 miles away with three flights daily each way to London Gatwick besides other seasonal destinations. The London Paddington Train also has a sleeper service.
