Two rounds of monitoring were conducted

16 sites around the gypstack were selected along with the subject schools and a control site

MEASUREMENTSMEASUREMENTS Radon study looked at alpha particles and gamma

rays

Measurements were taken for 90 days

Gamma readings were taken at the time of deployment

CONCLUSIONSCONCLUSIONS The average for both the first and

second deployment at the gypstack is 0.68 pCi/L

Based on the initial study, the results do not indicate any elevated readings at any of the schools

Overall, the sampling periods showed some differences
