New growth of Amber Jubilee® takes on shades of orange-red contrasting with the green foliage within. __________________________________________________________________________ Botanical Name: Physocarpus opulifolius 'Jefam' __________________________________________________________________________ Family: Rosaceae __________________________________________________________________________ Common Name: Amber Jubilee ® Ninebark __________________________________________________________________________ Origin: A seedling of the cross ‘Diabolo’ x ‘Darts Gold’ selected by Mr. Rick Durand and Dr. Wilbert Ronald of Jeffries Nurseries. __________________________________________________________________________ Hardiness: Zone 2 (Canadian and USDA) __________________________________________________________________________ Growth Rate: A vigorous shrub reaching a mature height of 5-6’ (2 m) and a width of 4’ (1.5 m). __________________________________________________________________________ Description: Amber Jubilee ® offers a unique blend of foliage colours including new growth that takes on shades of yellow and orange in summer before turning purple in the fall. Foliage on mature sections of the plant is lime-green. Annual pruning of the stem tips will cause this plant to look its best. __________________________________________________________________________ Culture: Performs best in moderate to full sunshine.
