Bezos in 1994 when he was working on Wall Street and saw the internet market rising.Amazon.com started as a digital book company, but has now grown to many markets.They have 90,000 fulltime employees.Have a Career Choice Program that pre-pays 95% of tuition for in-demand fields.Implementing new sustainability approaches including recycling energy for heating that’s four times more efficient.

What Draws People to Buy Products online?62% of US consumers purchase products online.
According to a study done by marketingprofs.com, there are factors that drive people to buy online.
The top three include free shipping, 1-day shipping, and free returns and exchanges.
95% of consumers surveyed purchased something from Amazon.com in the past year.
What about the other 38% ?
Recommendation: Open up Amazon.com Stores
The idea is to have physical stores people can go to and use Amazon.com to order items they need.Each Amazon.com store would specialize in a certain market.Would allow you to actually see the products and talk to specialists about the product.Benefit= Being able to actually see and touch a product before purchasing it.

Amazon Pop Up: Amazon established pop up shops in malls that were strictly based on their products. It was a great success.
Where: Places that do not have a warehouse set up. Would allow products to arrive to consumers faster.
The Layout: Minimal counters, have certain products organized in back and available if a customer wants to test it. Have iPads and mobile devices available to order the products. Have Products on display and allow customers to try them out.
Who would it attract?: People who do not enjoy shopping online because they cannot try products. This is typically people in the age group of 45 and older. Will also allow them to be more comfortable with ordering online and push them to buy off Amazon after.
