Minutes of the Bangalore Chapter Meeting

The first Bangalore chapter meeting was conducted in Senate Hall, The Infantry Hotel,

Bangalore -1 at 10.30AM

The meeting began with Mr. Vishwanathan(DELL SonicWALL) with a

lighthearted note welcoming the gathering

The Principal, Dr.Sudha Mohanram presided the gathering with updates on

placement for the final year students and the alumni was invited for the Project

Day to be held on March 5th 2016 at the College premises

Thiru.Mohanram, Chairman of the college had emphasized on the importance of

‘Giving Back to the Society’, and ’Entrepreneurship ‘. He had highlighted the

significance of Alumni Fund and had also proposed valuable ideas for utilization

of the fund

The Director, Thiru.Rajaram was very exhilarated with the gathering and had

implicated the value of ‘Being Connected’. The gathering was invited for the

Alumni Meet to be held at the college premises on August 7th 2016.

The Alumni in turn shared their experiences at College to their evolution to the

present day, thanking the Management for molding them to be respectable

individuals in the society.

There was a Lunch break for 30 minutes, where the Alumni along with the

Management Team were cherishing the food along with memories from the past.

Post lunch, Mr. Karunai Prakash along with Mr. Ashwin K Soman(NTT Data)

had entertained the gathering, with mimicry and solo singing respectively, also all

the Alumni members had participated in fun activities organized by Mr. Karunai

Prakash.

The Alumni members had penned their feedback and had also guaranteed their

contribution for the Alumni Fund.

At the outset, Mr. Karunakar Rao (DELL SonicWALL) had thanked the

Management team for their guidance thus far and the Alumni for their valuable

presence thus drawing the curtain for the 1st Chapter Meeting at Bangalore to a

memorable end.

1. Achieving "A" Grade (the highest Grade) in NAAC Assessment :

Though ours is a young and 8 year old institution, we have achieved A Grade (which is the

highest Grade) with a score of 3.27 out of 4 in the NAAC assessment that was conducted at

our institution during the last week of June 2016. National Assessment

and AccreditationCouncil is a Government of India body that audits and awards grades to

educational institutions for the implementation of systems and procedures in line with the set

As you would be aware, every year, Anna University publishes the academic ranking of its

Nov/Dec 2015 examinations, we have been ranked at 31 among 500+ engineering
