Towing with Andy ThomsonYou may have seen the odd-looking combinations Andy Thomsonof Can-Am RV has set up for towing. A Mini Cooper Clubman towingan Argosy 20; a Chrysler 300M towing an Airstream Classic 34-footer; a PT Cruiser towing a Bambi; or even a convertible Mustangtowing a 23-foot Airstream Flying Cloud.
How does he do it? Are they safe? Now’s your chance to learnthe underlying principles that make those unconventional tow vehiclessucceed. Even if you tow with the largest truck available, you’ll benefit from hearing Andy explainhow you can optimize your trailer hitch for better performance and safety. Website: canamrv.ca
Chris McDaniel, Western RoperChris McDaniel’s great show was a crowd favorite at the VintageTrailer Jam in 2009. A combination of trick roping, singing, dancing, and magic makes his performance a treat for all ages. Beware if heasks you to hold a piece of pasta with your mouth, because he willtrim it one inch at a time with a whip! Look for him on Friday nightunder the main tent. Website: chrismcdaniel.net
Joe Diamond, Bizarre MagicianJoe may look like a normal guy, but he has turned his fascinationfor the mysterious into a full time career! In only his early twenties,he has an amazing understanding of the workings of the mind, tothe point where he defies the boundaries between what we assumecan and can't be done. ESP, telepathy, clairvoyance – you'll be toobusy having fun to wonder what to call it, so let's just call it“Bizarre!” Don’t miss him on Saturday. Website: diamondcutmagic.com
