Patricia Tomaino-DarrowA.P.W. ENRICHMENT SCHOLARSHIP

There is now money available for your students in need to participate in enrichment opportunities!

Elena and Hilary, Patricia Darrow’s daughters, have started an enrichment scholarship fund in their mom’s memory. Their mom was a Social Studies Teacher here at our school for over 30 years enriching the lives of our students through her teaching. Patty led numerous extra-curricular activities in and out of school. She was an advocate for providing opportunities for our kids to travel and see the world, trying new things and experiencing new cultures. She was an active leader in our Ski Club and Travel Club, leading trips in the northeast and abroad.

Pat’s daughters would like to have their mom’s legacy live on by providing funding for our students. The funds will allow opportunities for kids to experience beyond the classroom.

If you know of any enrichment opportunities or you are organizing one for our students and want to recommend them for a scholarship, please give them the attached application. In an effort to carry on Pat’s heart’s desire to enrich the lives of the kids in our community, this is available for all grade levels and all opportunities will be considered.

Thank you.ROCHELLE NICOLETTE PERRY
