    Alternative Resources Company (ARC) was established in 1990 by

    Debra Pohl, an accomplished Recruiter in the industry for over twenty

    six years. ARC assists pharmaceutical companies with staffing

    positions from Discovery to Commercialization.

    As a boutique firm of professionals specializing in the

    pharmaceutical industry our experienced Recruiters and staff provide

    clients with highly qualified candidates. Our candidates are primarily

    sourced through target recruiting typically reserved by most

    companies exclusively for retained search projects only. All research

    is done in house by Research Assistants and Recruiters together.

    Only those candidates who most closely resemble the requirements

    of the position are referred. We take a very serious approach to

    search and referral by adhering closely to company policies and

    procedures assuring a positive client and candidate experience.

    ARC has developed a cohesive staff built on the principal of

    working closely together ensuring client exposure to a larger

    candidate pool.

    Our highly trained staff assists clients in negotiating and closing all

    levels effectively aligned with client objectives. We provide the time

    and specialized attention to a client that may be lost in a large

    agency. The client representative is responsible for all interaction

    and follow through to insure the quality of service expected. This

    intimate knowledge of the clients needs, assignments and candidate

    information supports the process and maintains the highest level of

    quality.

    Alternative Resources Company takes a very serious approach to search and placement of pharmaceutical professionals, saving clients time by:

    position.

  • Our Search Process

    Each assignment begins with an initial briefing from the client,

    during which all requirements and specifications are reviewed

    and documented.

    The Client Representative will determine needed resources and

    personnel to accomplish the project in a timely manner.

    Research is conducted to evaluate the resource base, market

    trends, and best practices to be used to formulate a highly

    responsive search.

    On an informed basis we will identify, qualify and refer qualified

    candidates for the position.

    Weekly status meetings are held to review progress, discuss

    obstacles and current events within the client company and the

    industry to determine ongoing strategy.

    Client updates keep the hiring managers informed of the search

    status.

    References are conducted, documented and forwarded upon

    interest by the client.

    The client representative will act as intermediary during

    negotiations with candidates to assure a positive close.

  • Search Structures

    Contingent

    The service fee for the placement of a candidate within your

    organization is 25% of the annual starting salary.

    Retained

    *Assures that your search gets the prompt and continuous

    attention required to fill the position timely and with the most

    qualified candidate.

    Ask about our Modified Retainer program in which a

    retainer is applied to begin the search then deducted from

    the service fee once the placement is made. This program

    is preferred by our clients and has received very positive

    feedback.
