    How to Install the Backup Battery

    This Altec Lansing Moondance Glow speaker system uses a backup battery

    system to provide continuous clock settings in the event o a power ailure.

    Withthebackupbattery(notincluded)installed,ifapowerfailureoccursortheACcordisaccidentallydisconnected,thedisplaywillnotremain

    lit and the alarm will not unction, but the current time will be temporarilymaintained.Otherwise,youmustresetthetimeandalarmsettings.

    Battery

    adapters or todays popular iPod models. These adapters ensure that your

    iPod properly ts in the speaker systems dock. As new iPod models are

    introduced, new adapters will be made available to customers. You may

    also use the adapters supplied with your iPod or available or purchase at

    www.apple.com.

    How to Place an Adapter

    select iPod as your alarm source. The speaker system should remember

    which song was selected rom now on, unless the playlist on your iPod

    is modied. I the playlist on your iPod is modied, either the last song on

    queue or the rst song on your song list will play.

    NOTEYour Altec Lansing speaker system eatures a backup battery. I

    apowerfailureoccursortheACcordisaccidentallydisconnected,thedisplay will not remain lit and the alarm will not unction. The correct time,

    however,willbetemporarilymaintained(providedyouhaveinstalleda9-voltbackup battery as described in the Getting Startedsection).

    NOTE IftheiPodorFMradioareplayingwhenthealarmgoesoff,thealarmwillautomaticallydefaulttothebuzzer,eveniftheiPodorFMradiohave been selected as the alarm source.
