Some albs made today do not require a cincture. Over the alb the priest will wear a chasuable for the liturgy of the Eucharist. Other times he may wear it only with his stole, or stole and surplice. Long cord at the waist of the alb. Used to adjust the alb to proper length. White is the usual color, however it may be of the same color as the Chasuble. Worn over the priest alb.Colors of the Chasuble used depend upon the liturgical season, the feast being celebrated, or special occasion (marriage, funeral)COLORS USED DURING THE LITURGICAL YEARSCope is used for other ceremonies than the Mass itselfA scarf, about 8 to 9 feet long and 21 to 36 inches wide.
