SPIRITUAL ADOPTION PROGRAM

Week 12 My eyelids have fused shut to protect my sensitive eyes. I know what color my eyes are now. I can lift my head and make funny faces by squinting and wrinkling my forehead. I can swallow too. My vocal chords are beginning to form but I’m not ready for the opera yet! Please keep praying the Spiritual Adoption Prayer and a Hail Mary each day for my mom and dad.

April 7, 2013 Dear Parishioners, Our new Bishop of Rome is Pope Francis, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, 76. He served as Cardinal Archbishop of Buenos Aires until his election and acceptance as Bishop of Rome,

the 266th pope. He is a native Argentinian born of Italian immigrant parents. He is a member of the Society of Jesus, the first Jesuit pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Throughout his live, both as an individual and a religious leader, he has been known for his humility, his active concern for the poor and marginalized, and his commitment to dialogue as a way to build bridges to people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and faiths. Since his election to the papacy, he has displayed a simpler and less formal approach to the office, including a decision to reside in Vatican City's guesthouse rather than the third-floor Apostolic Palace papal apartments used by his predecessors since 1903. April Showers Gift Auction

Friday, April 26, at 6:30 P.M. Sponsored by Altar & Rosary and Holy Name Society of Holy Family Please join us on Friday, April 26, 2013, beginning at 6:30 PM for the April Showers Gift Auction in Memorial Hall sponsored by the Holy Family Altar and Rosary and Holy Name Societies. Tickets are $10 per person in advance and $15 at the door. Must be over 21 to attend. Tables can be reserved for 8-10 provided all tickets purchased at the same time. Tickets currently available after all Masses and can also be purchased in the parish office. Three levels of raffle baskets will be available ranging in prizes valued from $50 to $850 as well as refreshments and fun!!!
