Sean LaPerruque (Musical Director) is super excited to return to Coronado Playhouse with the ultra-fabulous Altar Boyz! Sean was Music Director for the Boyz back in 2012, when Noah Longton & Diversionary Theatre Cabaret brought them to San Diego the last time. He was honored with a 2012 Scenie Award for Best Musical Direction from StageSceneLA for that production. Sean has been fortunate to again team up with choreographer Michael Mizerany (2012 Scenie, Best Choreography) and Boyz Patrick Mayuyu and Shaun Tuazon-Martin (2012 Scenie, Outstanding Ensemble Cast Performance) in order to bring the Boyz back to Coronado. Most of all, he has really enjoyed getting to rock out with new Boyz Charlie Gange, Joey Kirkpatrick and Seejay Lewis in this new production.

Sean’s most recent appearance at Coronado Playhouse was as Music Director for Pageant: the Musical (2013), and he is also a Resident Artist at Cygnet Theatre where he has been a Music Director, violinist, violist and keys player since 2012 (Dogfight; My Fair Lady; Spring Awakening; Company; Parade; A Christmas Carol). Other recent theatre credits are with San Diego Musical Theatre (Singing in the Rain, West Side Story, Next to Normal, Annie Get Your Gun, Chicago, White Christmas, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat).

Altar Boyz runs about 90 minutes. There is no intermission. The snack bar will be open throughout the performance

Charlie Gange (Matthew) is so excited to make his debut with Coronado Playhouse as well as work on his 3rd project with the impeccable Michael Mizerany; the first 2 being bare: A Pop Opera (Stage Scene LA Award) (Diversionary) and The Threepenny Opera (UCSD).

Other credits include: An American Christmas (Lamb’s); the World Premier of Refuse, or the Golden Door (ion @ La Jolla Playhouse WoW Festival); Return to the Forbidden Planet (New Village Arts); Sondheim on Sondheim (Moonlight); Next to Normal (Flat 7); Legally Blonde and the West Coast Premier of Spring Awakening (ACT-San Diego). Charlie performs regularly doing singing telegrams for Lip Service SD, as a performer for Bollotta Entertainment including singing alongside Broadway stars and Tony Award Winner Nikki M. James in last year’s La Jolla Playhouse Gala, and as the Lead Singer/Guitarist/Songwriter for San Diego bred rock band Sights and Sages. Charlie graduated from SDSU this past Winter earning a Bachelor of Music Degree. Charlie would like to thank Michael, the cast, crew, and CPH. Special thanks to his family, friends, and love. Joey Kirkpatrick (Abraham) is so excited to be playing on this stage once again! He was last seen in Spamalot (Coronado Playhouse). Previously: Sleeping Beauty as Prince Charming (CPH), Chicago as Fred Casely (CPH) and TBLWIT as an Aggie Boy (CPH). Other

performances include: Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and Rent (SPAC) and numerous cabaret performances on the Coronado Playhouse stage. While he’s not performing, he’s writing and recording original music. Thanks to an amazing cast and crew for putting this amazing production together. SeeJay Lewis (Mark) is extremely excited to be playing one of his dream roles, Mark in Altar Boyz In Concert, and also making his Coronado Playhouse debut! Last seen as Angel in RENT at Onstage Playhouse (Aldea Award). Other credits include:
