Las familias monoparentalesEn mi opinión, hay ventajas y desventajas de las familias monoparentales. Por ejemplo, es mejor que los niños vivan en una familia monoparental que vivir con dos padres que se pelean todo el tiempo. Si hay mucho conflicto en la casa, no es muy bueno para la salud mental de los niños y pueden sufrir de depresión. Cuando era pequeño, mis padres peleaban todos los días y estaba muy triste. Cuando tenía diez años, mis padres se separaron y ahora somos más felices. Sin embargo, si los padres tienen una buena relación y el ambiente en la casa es bastante feliz, creo que esto es la mejor situación para una familia.

Cuando tenía 13 años, fui a los Pirineos de España con mi colegio para hacer alpinismo. Al principio, tenía miedo, pero fue una experiencia increíble. Me gustó mucho estar en las montañas, particularmente porque había vistas extraordinarias. Luego, cuando llegué a la cumbre de la montaña, mis amigos y mis profesores me felicitaron y yo estaba cansado pero muy feliz. Ayer por la noche, comí en un restaurante español en Madrid con mi familia y la comida era increíble. Tuvimos un menú del día y costó solamente doce euros. Para comenzar, probé calamares para la primera vez y estaban deliciosos. Había pensado que serían asquerosos, pero con un poco alioli y limón, estaban ricos. Para mi plato principal, comí pollo a la plancha con verduras y patatas. En mi opinión, la carne era demasiado seca pero las verduras eran deliciosas. Después, pedí una tarta de manzana y fue fantástica. ¡Podría haber comido dos porciones! Mis padres bebieron vino, pero soy demasiado joven y, por lo tanto, tuve que beber agua. ¡No es justo!

Recomiendo este restaurante sin duda, porque la comida era maravillosa. Además, los camareros eran muy educados y dimos propina al final de la cena. Lo único que no me gustó fue la música porque no me gusta la música española y habría preferido la música clásica.

El sábado pasado fui al cine con tres amigos y mi hermano mayor porque era mi cumpleaños. Tengo dieciséis años y mi hermano tiene dieciocho años. 3. Yesterday evening, I ate in a Spanish restaurant in Madrid with my family and the food was incredible! We had a menu of the day and it only cost 12 euros. For my starter, I tried squid rings for the first time and they were delicious. I had thought that they would be disgusting, but with a bit of garlic mayonnaise and lemon, they were delicious. For my main course, I had/ate chicken with vegetables and potatoes. In my opinion, the meat was a bit dry but the vegetables were delicious. Afterwards, I chose an apple tart/pie and it was fantastic! I could have eaten two portions! My parents drank wine, but I am too young and therefore I had to drink water. It’s not fair!I recommend this restaurant without a doubt, because the food was marvellous. Moreover, the waiters were very polite and we gave them a tip at the end of the dinner/meal. 3. My town is quite small and it is not very modern, but it is pretty and I like it because it’s on the coast/by the seaside. To improve my town, they should build a sports centre with a pool, and we could also have a cinema and more cafés and restaurants, like a McDonald’s for example. That/It would be better.

However, in my town, there aren’t any trams and in my opinion, they should improve the public transport network in MK because I really liked going by tram. 3. When I was 10, I went on holiday with my family and my best friend. We went to Italy and we stayed in a horrible hotel! It was old and dilapidated/tumble-down/falling down, and the rooms were too small. The hotel manager told us that there would be a view of the sea, but we had an ugly view of the car park. There was a swimming pool but it was very small and the water was dirty. We couldn’t swim in the pool and I was really disappointed. Furthermore, there wasn’t a restaurant in the hotel or the town, so we had to go to another town for dinner.If they had cleaned the pool or if we’d had a view of the sea, the holidays would have been better, but not much.
