Aloha United Way has hundreds of volunteers who spend thousands of hours reviewing the greatest needs of our community.

We therefore offer some of the following designation areas if you would like your monies to specifically meet these issues.

2-1-1 Information and Referral Service (Desig. # 80106) Helping individuals and families across the state seek the resources and help they need through our free, confidential service.

Volunteer Hawai‘i (Desig. # 80107) Helping volunteers connect with nonprofits to make a positive impact in our community. Last year, we connected over 200 non-profits to potential volunteers and were able to donate $401,148 in gifts-in-kind.

This group receives our Aloha United Way “seal of approval,” which assures you, the donor, that this network of local nonprofit partners we work with are spending donated dollars wisely through thorough financial and program delivery review by community volunteers.

reduction of violence, bullying, homelessness, and academic failure in order to enhance school and community safety and academic achievement.

80160 After-School All-Stars Hawaii www.asashawaii.org ASAS Hawaii provides alternatives for at-risk youth to engage in

productive activities during the “danger zone” hours of 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. They work with 2,000 students in eleven middle schools.
