It has come to the attention of Almeda University (Almeda) that certain police officers

employed by the City of Fraser in the state of Michigan may have used degrees issued byAlmeda to obtain pay increases and other benefits.

While we cannot comment on these specific allegations, we want to make the following

clear:

It is Almeda policy to request that potential students consult with their current and/orfuture employers to determine if an Almeda degree is consistent with that employersown internal educational and/or administrative policies before matriculating at

Almeda. All employees of Almeda are required to follow this policy.

Almedas ownPolicies and Proceduresadvise Almeda applicants to consult with theirown employers to determine if an Almeda degree is acceptable based on their own

internal policies:

The applicant acknowledges and understands that Almeda University is not accredited by one of

the seven official regional accrediting bodies recognized by CHEAAlmeda University cannot

guarantee that its degrees will be accepted by all post-secondary institutions. In addition, certain

employers, including without limitation government and other publicly-funded

organizations, may not or will not recognize or accept an Almeda University degree. If an

applicant is unsure whether certain post-secondary institutions or employers will accept an

Almeda University degree, the applicant should first consult with those institutions or

employers to determine their policies regarding the acceptance of degrees from private, post-

secondary institutions with AOAEX accreditation.

It should be noted that our Policies and Procedures are published prominently on our website.

In addition, ALL potential Almeda students are required to agree to our Policies andProcedures prior to matriculating at Almeda.
