On Saturday, 28 January, 16 of Alma School’s learners of the Sakura Kai Dojo Karate for persons with disabilities took part in the annual Gauteng North Champion-ships.
They participated in the disabled category in the Kata and Kumite. We are very proud of each learner who received a medal. What a won-derful achievement !!
We are very proud to announce that our
2 Senseis, Celmari and Shiraaz, also
participated and together with 3 of our
learners: Thabang, Thandiwe and Martie
were chosen to represent the North
Gauteng team.
On Saturday, 4 February they partici-
pated and did very well!
Sensei Celmari - Bronze medal, Sensei Shiraaz - Bronze medal, Thabang - 2 Gold medals
Thandiwe - 2 Gold medals, Martie - 1 Gold and 1 Bronze medals
NO cell phones allowed at school!! If
your child bring his cell phone to school
it is at OWN RISK.
Children under 12 years can
go for a free eye test and spec-
tacles at any Spec Savers. You
only need to make an appoint-
ment at your nearest branch
and take your child for the
test.

not qualified to do ethnic styles.

As you already know it’s our annual Carnival on 4 March 2017.
As in the past, we kindly ask that the learners assist us by bring-ing to school some of the products we need for the Carnival.

balls and toy cars that can be used for the
