COURSE OVERVIEW
The Northway Application Lifecycle Management Course teaches how to leverage the ALM/QC Test
Management solution to manage the entire testing process for an organization. This course focuses on
the 5 core activities and reporting associated with the test management process.
This course not only introduces the techniques needed to effectively leverage ALM/QC, but also helps
the student to leverage “best practices” for test management, including release planning, requirements
reviews, test design techniques, test execution planning, defect management, and monitoring &
measuring effectiveness.

COURSE OVERVIEW
The Northway Application Lifecycle Management Site Administration and Project Customization course
teaches how to manage the HP ALM/Quality Center™ solution for an enterprise. This course focuses on
two core aspects of managing projects:
Site Administration – this portion of the course focuses on the activities associated with
creating, managing, updating and deleting projects and domains within the product. It also
teaches the student how to navigate the administration features, and to track product
utilization.
Project Customization – this portion of the course focuses on how to plan, define, and
implement project customizations in the platform. It is intended to provide students with the
skills to not only configure the solution, but to create workflow to align the tool to the company
standards.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
Quality Assurance Associates that are responsible for HP ALM/Quality Center™ product administration
and Quality Assurance Associates that manage project details.
