You are now the owner of a quality motorhome.The Owners Handbook has been prepared foryour guidance to help you derive the greatestamount of pleasure from the use of yourmotorhome. It is recommend that you read thepages of this Handbook thoroughly so that youare fully conversant with all the motorhomesystems. NOTE:All coach built motor caravans are classified asGrade 2 which meet with the thermal insulationand heat levels for specific climatic conditions.

IMPORTANT:The serial number of your motorhome shouldbe quoted in all correspondence, it can befound stamped on a plate fixed beneath themotorhome door.

There is also a serial number on the chassiscab or pillar, which should also be quoted.

Your motorhome serial number can also befound on the NCC certificate which can befound within your user pack.

Your Authorised Dealer will be able to supplyany replacement parts for your motorhome,should the need arise, along with anyaccessories you may require. Please note thatit is not possible to purchase replacementparts or accessories direct from themanufacturer.

We are sure you will have many happy timeswith your motorhome but please remember ahappy carefree time is based on proper,thorough and responsible preparation, carefuldriving with regard to The Rules of the Road,other road users and above all ensuring yourmotorhome is in a first class roadworthycondition. It is recommended that yourmotorhome is serviced by an AuthorisedRetailer once every twelve months.

FIRE RETARDANT FOAMSUnder the Condition of the ConsumerProtection Act 1987, manufacturers have aresponsibility to ensure that their product is assafe as possible.

With this in mind all motorhomes are equippedwith Combustion Modified High Resilient(C.M.H.R.) foam cushions or sprungmattresses. These foams are very much saferfrom a fire point of view than those previouslyused. In addition all upholstery is made of fireretardant fabric.

We are confident that our new products, builtwith innovative manufacturing techniques andtested materials, make water ingress concernsunnecessary.

In fact, we are so confident of our newproducts that we have issued a Code ofPractice which gives certain guarantees to ourcustomers, both consumers and retailers, offinancial reimbursement of repair costs shouldproblems occur.

THE CODEThe code applies to all new Explorer Groupproducts manufactured after 1st September1998.

All customers with documentary proof ofannual services by an approved ExplorerGroup Ltd. retailer or service centre, will bepaid in full for the costs of repairs due to wateringress for up to 5 years from the date ofpurchase of a new product.

Customers who bought new motorhomesbetween September 1996 and August 1998will also be covered under this code providingthey have documentary proof of annualservices by approved Explorer Group Ltd.r
