READTHISFIRST . . .The thought of studying the Scriptures can be intimidating. Its a

big book. Its also a controversial book. One could wonder if thereis any hope of understanding it. But be encouraged; it is not as time

consuming as one might think to master the Scriptures core message.

Many people watch more hours of TV in one week than it takes the

average person to complete this course.

This course is based on the book,ALLTHATTHE PROPHETSHAVE SPOKEN.

It is quite different than many other overviews of the Word of God,

so before you begin, here are a few pointers.

    1. Learn one section at a time in the sequence it is written. This is

not a course in which you can jump around from one lesson to

another. It is important that you read each chapter inALLTHEPROPHETS

sequentially and then answer the accompanying correspondence

questions before you move on to the next chapter.

    2. ALLTHATTHE PROPHETSHAVE SPOKEN is written as a story. You will

get far more out of the course if you dont spread your reading

time over too many days. Many can read the entire book andcomplete the CORRESPONDENCE COURSE questions in a handful of

evenings. The sooner you finish the entire course, the more the

story will stick together in your mind.

    3. Learn for the sake of knowingfor yourself. The point of this course

is to gain an understanding of the main theme of the Scriptures.

Whether you believe it or not is entirely up to you.

    4. Make sure you complete the course. To make a final judgmentabout the Scriptures primary message without knowing the full

story is to risk drawing wrong conclusions.

    5. In the early stages of the course, you may have an abundance

of questions. Dont get sidetracked. Write them down, but save

your questions for the end to be discussed with your teacher or

course corrector. Most people find that many of their questions

are answered in the process of completing the overview.

    6. Dont be insulted if you find some questions too easyit means

you understand the material. Some of the questions can be a little

    tricky so read them carefully!
