FAMILY FAITH SHARING
Today’s gospel continues with Jesus’ advice and instructions to
the disciples at the Last Supper. He promises that the Spirit will
be there to guide his followers to the truth. The Spirit will speak
in Jesus’ name, just as Jesus speaks in the Father’s name. Each
of these three Persons in one God belongs to the other. We call
this mystery of God’s identity the Blessed Trinity.
John 16: 12 – 15
QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT...
What is “God’s truth” (hint: L-O-V-E)?
How do you share that truth with others? What sign or symbol
reminds you of the Trinity? Why?

The Serra Clubs of Portland are
looking for new members. The
Serra Club, named after recently
canonized St. Junipero Serra, is a
lay organization of men and
women whose mission is to fos-
ter, promote and affirm vocations
to the priesthood and religious
life, and through
this ministry, further our club
member’s Catholic faith.
Our club was formed in 1937,
and has prayed for and fostered
vocations for 79 years. We need
members from all parishes.
Come visit us. The Portland club
meets at St. Patrick’s Church the
1st and 3rd Wednesday of the
month at
noon, with Holy Mass on the 3rd
Wednesday. Contact

In the new Catholic Sentinel,
read how one Catholic parish
has been helping residents of
a mobile home park slated
for sale. Hear the tales of
youths about to graduate
from Oregon Catholic
schools and meet the only
mother-son principals in the
history of Catholic schools in
the state. You’ll hardly
believe the treasure of
ancient books that Mount
Angel Abbey cares for as a
legacy of faith.
A Lifeline for Marriage –

deep misery. For confidential
information about or to regis-
ter for the program beginning
