Greetings, St. Patrick Catholic Community! This week's readings all point to the great things that are to come for those who have faith. That sounds really great right about now. Let 's let our hope take the driver seat this week.
Having hope does not mean abandoning our intelligence or shirking our responsibilit ies. Rather, it should bolster us with the faith that God will bless our effort and discipleship with the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Our generosity dur ing this t ime should be marked by t ruly taking account of the needs of others. It can be tempt ing to give what is convenient rather than consider ing what will actually do the most good. Generosity can take many forms. It 's mater ial support to the organizat ions you love, but it 's also emot ional support for those who are hurt ing, t ime for our kids and at tent ion to our spouses.

Jesus teaches his disciples to have a profound love of neighbor. Think about who lives around you. You may have elder ly or vulnerable people living around you. Keep an eye out for signs of dist ress and make sure they know that they can come to you for help.
JModern disciples don't always take advantage of the communicat ions technology at our f ingert ips. Chances are, you've got some old fr iends who would love a simple hello. The t r ick is working up the courage to reach out . Wouldn't you love it if an old bud said "hi?" Chances are they would, too!

?Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. So by their fruits you will know them.? (Matthew 7:17-20)

- What 's the best t ime of day for you to be in your sacred space? Schedule that t ime on your calendar.
