Award Nomination Form

The Delhi Management Association recognizes the achievements of successful women entrepreneurs who have scaled new heights by launching the DMA All India Women Entrepreneurs Award 2020 (WEA).

All the awards will be presented in 2 distinct categories: (1) Achievers (36 years & above) (2) Young Achievers (35 years & below) in the following sectors:

ELIGIBILITY

All woman entrepreneurs who have started their own enterprise or venture and have been successfully running it for at least one year (as on March 31, 2019) with a physical presence within India are eligible to nominate themselves for the DMA All India Women Entrepreneurs Awards (WEA).

General Instructions:

Last date for receiving nominations is November 15, 2019 by 5.00 p.m. The DMA All India Women Entrepreneurs Award would be presented in the month of February 2020, during the 10th Women Entrepreneurs Conference.

• All the entries will go through a screening process and evaluation by a ‘High Profile Jury’.

• Winners from the respective sectors would receive the ‘award’; a ‘citation’ and a ‘complimentary DMA membership for one year’ along with an invitation to the forthcoming 10th Women Entrepreneurs Conference in February 2020, for which the delegate fee will be waived off.

• All the remaining participants will be presented a ‘certificate of appreciation’ along with an invitation to the forthcoming 10th Women Entrepreneurs Conference in February 2020, for which the delegate fee will be waived off.

Key Instructions for filling the form: • All Sections are Mandatory.

• Annual Reports/ Audited Financial statements/ Unaudited Financial Statements of the last 3 years/ 2 years /1 year (depending upon the date of the starting of the enterprise) are mandatory to be sent along with the nomination form.

NOWE @ DMA

The Network of Women Entrepreneurs (NOWE) was launched on Friday 5th October 2018, at Delhi Management Association, under the aegis of Women in Management Committee of DMA by Padamshree Dr. Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman, India Operations CA Technologies in the presence of Ms. Veena Swarup, Former Director HR, EIL and Chairperson Women in Management Committee, DMA, Dr. Poonam Sinha, Joint Director, NIESBUD, Ms. Padmaja Ruparel, Co-Founder, Indian Angel Network and Mr. Rajan Pandhi, Director DMA and a large number of women entrepreneurs. It is an All India Network.

Objectives of NOWE:

To provide women entrepreneurs a platform where they can exchange ideas, learn from each other and get appropriate guidance from experts across various stages of their entrepreneurial journey.

NOWE to be a game changer

The network aims at bringing budding women entrepreneurs and successful women entrepreneurs together on a platform to facilitate ideation, acceleration and execution of plans with a view to see more women in the workforce.

This network will enhance:

Learning NOWE will conduct, at regular intervals, knowledge sharing sessions that will facilitate group

learning, on how one can move ahead in their entrepreneurship journey. It will help members identify areas of development or tap new innovative ideas in conversation

with experts. There will be workshops and seminars through which members will benefit during their

entrepreneurial journey.

NetworkingNOWE will provide an opportunity to meet and connect with national Entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalist, Corporate Leaders and Academicians. This will be a platform to identify synergies that members can leverage upon.

Mentoring NOWE will provide an opportunity to be mentored by industry veterans and senior

entrepreneurs. A focused event will be planned by DMA to promote mentoring and help members meet the

mentors to kick start the mentoring journey.
