9. Deadline of Entry: Kindly confirm your state participation before 5th December 2019 to the

organizing committee & Indian Federation. 10. Ceremony: (a) Opening Ceremony will take place at 3.00 pm on 28th December 2019.

(b) Closing Ceremony & Prize Distribution will take place on 29th December 2019 at 5:00 pm. 11. AGM Meeting: 7.00PM on 28th December 2019 At Venue followed by Dinner. 12. Costume: In Accordance with WDSF Dress Regulations.

13. Accommodation & Food: The Organizing Committee will take care of decent Accommodation

with Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner for all Participants/ Coach / Manager / Officials on 28th and 29th December 2019 (two days only).

14. Age Restriction

The following age restrictions are obligatory in WDSF Competitions:

Juvenile I: reach 10th birthday or less in the calendar year Juvenile II: reach 10th and 11th birthday in the calendar year Junior I: reach 12th and 13th birthday in the calendar year Junior II: reach 14th and 15th birthday in the calendar year Youth: reach 16th, 17th and 18th birthday in the calendar year Adult: reach 19th birthday or more in the calendar year Senior I: reach 35th birthday or more in the calendar year

Note: Each State must bring at least 5 couples for national championship.

11th NATIONAL DANCESPORT CHAMPIONSHIP

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All competitors must be members of their respective State DanceSport Associations who are members of the AIDSF.

2. The Championship Organizer reserves the right to refuse entries from persons whose status is unclear

according to AIDSF Rules.

3. Competitors may take part in more than one event.

4. No change of partner is allowed in the same event.

5. All competitors must be dressed in appropriate costumes as specified in the WDSF Dress Regulations.

6. Advertising on competition dress is allowed subject to AIDSF Rules.

7. All competitors must attend rehearsals as requested by the Championship Organizer.

8. All competitors must be present for their events on time. Late-comers will be disqualified.

9. Doping is strictly forbidden. Any persons assisting or enticing others in the contravention of doping rules

shall be considered as having committed an offence and will be subject to disciplinary action & may be

dropped from the tournament.

10. The Championship Organizer reserves the right to change the program of events without prior notice.

11. The Championship Organizer will not accept any liability, claims for injuries, damage or loss suffered by the competitors.

12. The judges’ decision shall be final.

13. In the event of any query, dispute or matter arising out of any point which is not expressively provided for in the rules, the Championship Organizer shall have the power to use its own discretion.

14. Date of Birth must be stated on the entry form for Junior, Masters, and Lower & Upper Primary

15. All persons attending this event, whether as spectators, competitors, officials or guests of the Organizer shall be bound by the rules of this event and participating automatically become. obliged to adhere to them.

16. Each performance will be evaluated on Technique, Presentation, Costume, Posture ,Timing , Line, Hold, Poise, Togetherness, Musicality And Expression, Power, Foot And Leg Action etc.

17.Solos: There is no limit to the number of Solos. Keep solo exhibitions to a maximum of 2 1/2 minutes.

18. Registration Desk

Upon arrival at the venue, one representative from the Team should come to the registration desk. . Each participant will be given a heat list showing what heat and at what time he/she is dancing. Each competitor should be present in the stadium at least 30 minutes prior to his/her scheduled dance time. When you receive your heat sheet, please check and make sure your dances, levels, and ages are correct.

19. No entries, including online registration, will be processed or considered registered until full payment is . . received

20. There will be no refunds for any entry fees regardless of circumstance. Credits will be issued only in cases of documented injury or illness with a bonafide doctor’s note.

21. ENTRIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY PHONE OR FAX.

Other matters not specified in the rules :

Matters not specified in the Rules shall be dealt with as follows:

1. Matters related to the competition shall be decided through a consensus of the competition referee and

technical delegate.

2. Matters not related to the competition shall be decided by the organizing committee.

AIDSF Presents (Solo Dance Competition)

After successfully completing 1st,2nd & 3rd season, now we are launching AIDSF season 4, Solo dance competition. When it comes to competition, we know there are many to choose from. AIDSF is dedicated to provide all dance lovers an opportunity for extraordinary experience. We take pride in offering an elite panel of judges who are committed to sharing their extensive knowledge and love of dance.

COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS

*All Competitors are requested to go through the following rules & regulations.

1. Dance Types : Modern / Breaking /Hip-Hop/Salsa/ Jazz /Bachata / Bollywood / Contemporary/

Indian Classical / Folk.

2. Participants can participate in maximum in two dances.

3. Trophies will be given to the 1st,2nd and 3rd placed.

4. Certificate of Participation will be given to all participants.

5. Participants should bring their own song audio in pen drive , CD or in mobile.

6. Song must meet appropriate Quality standard and will be reviewed by Dance committee.

7. In case song does not pass quality standards, you will be notified in advance

8. Song duration for the Finale round be 2 Minutes 30 Seconds for all age categories

9. Safety Code: No glass bangles, colours, confetti, grains, or any other small / breakable objects

allowed on stage / backstage or in dressing rooms. This safety code will be strictly enforced.

10. Participants will be allowed according to their age category & should report at the venue &

register their name along with copy of the birth certificate & Aadhar card copy & 2 passport

size Photographs.

11. Registration fees once paid is non refundable. No photography or Videography at the dance

venue without prior approval of the team management.

12. All Competitors must be dressed in the appropriate costumes & Shoes.

13. Participants should be present 1 hour before his/her performance. Late comers will be

disqualified.

14. The Organizer will not accept any liabilities, any claims for injuries damages or loss suffered by

the competitors.

15. The Organizer reserves the right to change the program of the event or rules (as per situational

requirements) without any prior notice.

16. The adjudicator’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.

I agree to the terms that I shall not hold the organizers, instructors, venue and event managers

responsible for any injury, loss of articles or life. I also authorize the organizers to use videos and

photographs of me for any promotion material.
