As you can see there is some intertexutality between these four All American Reject albums some easily identifiable and some easily missed when trying to analyse intricate detail.

Presentational Techniques

As you can see, all four covers have the band name present which is a conventional feature for any album/single cover. However all four are presented in an entirely different manner showing that the band don’t have a conventional typeface ,but I also believe this personality in terms of the band as being unusual and having no set restrictions or genre to there music and style. I also so believe this shows the nature of the song type and lyrics on each individual CD and shows the creativity of the band trying to convey their personality via imagery and how the band like variety and fun. But there is Intertexuality in terms of intetextuality between the single and album cover this is very strong in terms of the bands presentation of there name as can be seen via ‘move along’ and ‘gives me hell’ which enables the audience to make association between the album and single to create a purchase of both album and single for similar music. But again the song titles name is kept alternative to represent the individuality of the song to others on the album.

Also intertextuality is present in terms of the presence of the albums name , however this isn't the case on 2002 album which maybe suggests the music is subvert to usual conventional sounds of The All American Rejects. Also it might reflect the bands playful use of trickery or using none stereotypical , as well as showing how maybe the band were testing the waters in terms of the seeing there position and establishment in the music industry.

The band as you can see again instils suspense into it audience , by having no review stickers and recommended song choices which shows the bands desire to have various strands of the audience liking different maybe not emesley popular singles as they are proud of all there contributions in music.
