As an avid knitter and yarn shop owner, I live for this weather! But alas, the sun has been shining and 60 degree weather returned…no worries though, back to reality tomorrow I hear. I finished a Christmas gift for my daughter…the Chevron cowl…a free pattern at the shop. For this one I used the new Road to China in three color ways…oh my goodness I love this yarn! Check two gifts off my list… A beautiful set of needles has been created by Knitter’s Pride…they are wood with metal tips and come in this limited edition case…I have a few in stock and will take orders for more that will arrive well in time for Christmas. Come check then out or add them to your wish list. If you are looking for something fun to do instead of shopping with those awful crowds then check out the beaded gift making classes Diane is teaching at the shop on Black Friday…info below. She will bring Christmas colored beads too if you want to make your own Christmas necklace and bracelets. These are the same classes offered at the Fall Festival and of course you are welcome to take the class more than once…snacks will be provided as nourishment. In Chicagoland the boys went Trick or Treating for the first time…a Cookie monster and some furry thing…

Burrrrr…it sure was cold for a few days last week…I have to say I was a bit excited though because I was able to put on my fingerless mittens, scarf, hat and boot toppers for the first

time.

Check two gifts off my list…

A beautiful set of needles has been created by Knitter’s Pride…they are wood with metal tips and come in this limited edition case…I have a few in stock and will take orders for more that will arrive well in time for Christmas. Come check then out or add them to your wish list.

If you are looking for something fun to do instead of shopping with those awful crowds then check out the beaded gift making classes Diane is teaching at the shop on Black Friday…info below. She will bring Christmas colored beads

too if you want to make your own Christmas necklace and bracelets. These are the same classes offered at the Fall Festival and of course you are welcome to take the class more than once…snacks will be provided as nourishment.

In Chicagoland the boys went Trick or Treating for the first time…a Cookie monster and some furry thing…
