All About Yarn Weekly Update July 22,2014 Thank you for supporting All About Yarn, your LYS! –Rox www.allaboutyarn.biz [email protected] 763-785-4900 http://www.ravelry.com/people/allaboutyarnshop It’s been nice to have a couple days relief from the humidity but alas it is returning for the weekend…this is July and we should expect nothing less just like six months from now it will surely be below zero…YIKES!!! I finished my latest project and am very pleased with how it turned out…it’s a Chevron scarf or cowl from one of a multitude of Chevron patterns out there to choose from… Chevron knits are the rage right now. Color change is also huge again this season and so I have some Baah Fingering mini skeins for you to choose from as well as some multipacks from Frabjous Fibers arriving today. This cowl is 600 yards of fingering as it is and it will be fun to see all the color combinations everyone else comes up with. The pattern is a free one at the shop. These past two weeks my husband has been out of town making his final tour around the Dakota’s with his baseball team…I usually use times like this when I’m home alone on a weekend night to catch up on some movies…here’s my completed list: Gone Girl, Lost Boys ,Whiplash, Jersey Boys, Five Flights Up, Get On Up, Danny Collins, Foxcatcher & Neighbors. I must say the last one was a bit of a stretch for me but it was free and I decided to give it a try and found the movie to be rather entertaining. Still Alice & Into the Wild are movies I would like to watch but they will have to wait until this fall. Our final July Anniversary Special begins today and will run until the end of the month…all patterns, magazines & books will be 25% off and the clearance section will be 35% off.
