Eurocolumbus was founded by Carlo Brameri, doctor in physics, who built in Italy in Milan the first tube

with rotating anode after the World War 2. The company is focused on innovation and research in order to produce

the best performing systems on the market. Its C-arms are motorized and have been equipped

with full isocentric geometry since 2001. First company in the world starting the production of a C-arm

with image acquisition through a dynamic flat panel of amorphous silicon in 2005.

Functionality that allows to keep the Rx beam always centered in the desired position with any movement of the C, ensuring thus todisplay to monitor a perfect projection of the district subject to examination, without need for additional alignments. Essential prerequisite for any 3D reconstruction.

Functionality required to assist the surgeon in lateral operations and on the column and for greater operational accessibility.

MOTORIZEDC-ARM

The motorized movement of the C is done by advanced and controlled transmission systems with an indication on the monitor of the expected position; the position “zero and ninety” is perfectly achieved thanks to a digital tracking system of position thus reducing the centering times and then those of intervention.

No collision system is the only one in the world mounted on mobile in which blocks the movements before the collision. The system can be mounted on detector and Rx complex; the distance of intervention can be set. The system also works with sterile covers included.

Our philosophy is: maximum performance with the lowest Rx dose possible. This is why we mount only rotating anode tubes with the highest anodic dissipation available on the market,

even the metal tubes with the same technology used in CT scanners and in mammography, to ensure best performances (MTF - lower dose) than glass tubes.
