ESCO – Energy Servicing Company

Under ESCO projects, initially a detailed study of the facilities at various load centres is conducted and locate those areas where energy consumption and wastage is very high.Thereafter, a detailed report along with recommendations for implementation of energy efficiency measures for energy conservation is submitted to the clients.Under ESCO scheme, the initial upfront investment is done by the company which means that the client need not invest from his side. Implementation of energy efficiency measures is done by using energy efficient products for various applications such as: Lighting, Air-conditioning, Motors, Cooling Towers, Transformers etc.The client subsequently makes the payment from the energy savings in terms of monetary advantage. The savings are shared between the client and the ESCO Company on a fixed percentage basis over a fixed period of the contract period.The company has conducted several ESCO projects in Industries, Govt, & Public Sector and Commercial Establishments such as Shopping Malls, Office complexes etc.

Our Major Achievement Alien Energy-Leader in Energy Conservation and

Management

The company was awarded a major ESCO contract by Haryana

Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) on behalf of

Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) for implementation of

Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) in the street lighting of Panchkula

Municipal Corporation for the replacement of conventional street

lights with energy efficient street lights with the latest GSM

Technology. The project cost is Rs. 200 Lacs and the period of the

contract is 96 months. The projected energy savings worked out to

almost 68%. Under this contract HUDA is sharing the energy savings

on

pre-determined ratio fixed under a mutual agreement between

HAREDA, HUDA and ESCO (I.e. The company). The greatest

advantage to HUDA is that during the contract period the

maintenance of the street lights is on the company. The company

ensures proper performance of the street lights.
