ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Basice lofting command
Create the basic form of the Vase
Use Cones commandand Divide Surface command
3
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Use Sphere instead to cones Use Tube
4
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
First practice of multi attractor points Use Line as attractor instead of point
5
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Apply attractor point in previous Vase Design
Use Anemone to repeating genrating curves
6
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Use Hexegon to generate Snow Crystal like pattern
First try of the Anemone component.3 loops and triangle duplication used.
7
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Change loop to 2 to see how the transformation works. Also change the move length to a higher value to
see how it effect the pattern.
Try 5 loops for this time and it takes quite a long time to genertate
the form but the final outcome is satisfying as it create some beautiful
pentagon which is not expected.
8
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Try Anemone on a column which creates pattern along the side. It is similar to previous trile but it is different as the size of them are different along the column. An
interesting effect it create is that the top and bottom of the colomn is
covered by overlapping patterns.
I changed the radius of the circles so that it create different form of the
coloum which is not so straight. I reduced the hight of the triangle each
time when it pops up thus that it shows the form of the column more
clearlier.
9
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Increased the hight of pattern and change loop time to 5 so it create a
more complex pattern which is much bigger one than the last time.
Change the hight of the triangle once again to a higher value which change the first loop's pattern much bigger and the later loops' patterns much
smaller.
10
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
First time using the Kagaroo component which simulate physical force reaction on mash surface. This outcome has used the force to pull
the mesh downwards.
Change the force direction and also add more anchor points in the mesh which create a broken form. I think I need to go back to the first step and try to have a better control of it and understand how the anchor points
works.
11
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
Referenced a circle and points on the circle as anchor points which
generate a beautiful pattern.
Move around the circle and also change the the force direction, this
time I am able to control the pattern better which creates form that I
wanted.
12
ALGORITHM SKETCHBOOK
But if I add more anchor points in the mesh it is unable to react to the force and also the mesh is changed through the change of anchorpoints.
