I’ve always felt a great curiosity about the seaweed and coral reefs, their ability to generate a variety of colours and intensities, and in the case of seaweeds, their constant movement under water, resembling a slow dance.

Algae is a suspension lamp inspired by all this memories, resembling an aquatic algae that is suspended in the air, constantly changing its shape, depending on the angle from where you look at it.

Its made of two acrylic surfaces, which embrace a compact fluorescent tube, hiding the entire electronic system.
The use of two layers give you the chance to diffuse the intensity of the internal colour, creating a delicate and cheerful atmosphere.

Algae is part of a collection of lamps developed for Almerich, a Spanish company located in the Mediterranean city of Valencia.
