Alcatel Pa Calibration Procedure

Items needed:

HP 437B8481A SensorN-Female to SMA MaleTuning ToolVM

1) Connect 8481 Sensor to Power Ref of power meter. Enter Shift Cal Factor. Enter the cal factor from the label on the sensor for frequency being checked IE. 6.4 G=97.1%. Press zero to zero meter.

2) Connect sensor to RF mon port of PA. Reading on power meter should be close to calibration label on PA.

3) From WinUSI calibrate offline PA (view power and adjust) Set Tx level by adjusting XMT Level ADJ on TX card to 10db below calibrate label (IE. -1.1dbm rf mon for 29dbm output set pot till meter reads -11.1dbm Select next on software then Set TX level to reading on cal label (IE -1.1dbm) finish by storing data.

4) For Null Modem check- start with the offline side follow instructions connect VM to DC Mon Port should read 2.9V remove I/O card per instructions and adjust I carrion Null and 0 carrier null to lowest value 0v

5) Switch to offline side to online and repeat above steps
