Zone Cross Country What a glorious day for the Zone Cross Country – the sunshine was out and our students had a lovely day running their required course. Many thanks are extended to John Beattie and Lisa Bradshaw for their organisation of such a wonderful event. Thanks are also extended to Alexis and Ryan Lovatt, James Harrison, Nathan Kimball and Ian Elworthy who assisted in the organisation of the catering and transporting equipment to the equestrian centre. Thank you to Alison and Marcia in the canteen for making the numerous salad rolls. Other helpers included Suzy Abou Assaleh, Lucinda Beechey, Katrina Gay, Dimity Deas, Monique Chalmers, Sharon McNair, Cherie Scott, Nicole McMaster and Terry Brown. who helped on the day – either on the course itself or with the cooking. Without all of your help and support this wonderful event would not have been possible to run.

SCHOOL STREAM Please download the Schoolstream App on your phone. This App will allow you to submit your child’s absence note, update new details such as change of address, phone numbers etc. It will also send alerts/reminders regarding what is happening at school.

Parent Online Payments (POP)

Parents can now access the school’s website via computer, mobile phone or tablet to make online

payment through a secure Westpac Payment page. The payment process is intuitive and follows the same

process / format as other online payments. Please use the Parent Online Payment facility through the

school’s website – www.alburywest-p.school.nsw.edu.au. We also have EFTPOS facilities available at the

school.

Head lice A special request as we have had several cases of head lice reported – please check your child’s hair for head lice. Anyone can get head lice and it is common for school children to get head lice at some time. Head lice can spread when children’s hair comes into contact with one another. To prevent getting head lice, tie your child’s hair back, tell your child not to share hats or clothes and check your child’s hair regularly. For tips on treating head lice please go to www.health.nsw.gov.au/headlice

OUR ZONE CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS

CANTEEN SUPERVISOR POSITION Albury Public School seeks a Canteen Supervisor to run the canteen 5 days per fortnight in a job-share arrangement.
